Not surprising

Boxing needs way more structure
Boxing was already a Sport for the privileged to enjoy at this point when you factor in the cost to seeing events live.

At this point at best we can hope for Every Belt org to have Feeder Leagues with what this TKO stuff is trying to set, with the Feeder Leagues being low cost and having cable deals and the champs of those leagues get "called up" to Ring Events.

Let the Feeder Leagues do Weekly/Bi Weekly small arena events nationally.

I mean anybody with SNAC is suspicious off the bat :yeshrug: .....I think Brian Norman has every right to feel weird about victor conte's involvement with vada. Seeing as he's working with his opponent. That's a huge conflict of interest. And why would you choose to work with a guy who literally went to prison for dealing steroids. A guy who bragged dozens of times about being able to beat any drug test. Conte said his goal is to mimic the effects of ped's but do it by using substances that haven't been banned yet. He said that's the goal of every nutrition coach. To stay ahead of the curve on banned substances and then once the drug testing companies get hip to something, they just replace it with something else that hasn't been banned yet. So it's not necessarily about "being clean", it's about staying under the radar. And since victor conte clearly has connections to vada I'm sure that's very easy for him to do.

Obviously victor conte is a genius in his field. One of the best in the world. Which is why he's been able to revive his career. But the athletes that work him shoulda known they were gonna get some heat for it. It's been brewing for a while, but it seems this haney-norman situation has finally brought it to a boiling point.

Not to me...nobody gave a damn about Victor Conte or SNAC until Ryan Garcia faggit ass got caught juiced to the gills. Now all of a sudden everybody’s a PED expert and wanna change the narrative. Dozens of fighters have worked with SNAC for years.. and there was no outrage or problem with VADA testing... no accusations, nothing.... Conte was consulted to help VADA tighten up testing protocols. Ryan Garcia pops dirty and all ofna suddem Conte is now some Big Brother mastermind puppet master over VADA.. I dont buy it.. I think nikkas just have a bizarre hatred for Haney

the whole world literally acts like it didn’t take literally take years for the boxing workd to get certain matchups to happen, just about any major matchup
Essentially the top of the sport rarely had big events - annual basis, semi-annual basis - and a lot of in-house cherry picks

Turki/Saudis came in and literally changed everything and people either can’t perceive that or their level of expectation has risen beyond their gratitude, with no concept of what has uplifted that expectation level
Just imagine all the fights we woulda got had Turki hit the scene 10 yrs ago

I'm just saying fighters have a right to feel uneasy about victor conte having connections with vada. Especially when they have to go through vada testing against fighters in Contes stable. Wether he's cheating or not isn't even the question. An active coach shouldn't be working for the main testing agency in the sport. It has to be one or the other. Either you're a coach or a vada advisor. It can't be both. It's a conflict of interest. Brian Norman isn't the first guy to question Conte's involvement in the sport.

They can feel however they want to about Conte..My issue is the way nikkas try to connect Conte with VADA as if he's a VADA employee. The only connection is him being consulted with to help commisions catch nikkas cheating more efficiently.. THATS IT.... Even if Conte was some VADA guy behind the scenes pulling strings, VADA doesn't even touch the samples themselves..VADA just oversees the process and they hire independent WADA accredited doping control officers to collect samples. If Conte was somehow helping fighters juice they dont even have to be apart of SNAC(if thats truly the goal)
