He’s better as a studio commentator. I would rather he have a pre fight show and post fight show. His in fight commentary is limited but he’s like Bill Simmons in they have great recollection of the history and do well in less structured formats.

You know what, I agree, I think Max Kellerman is doing great on the new Ring Podcast show, that is more his element

Comparing Boots and Crawford is probably one of the laziest comparisons I have ever seen when it comes to Boxing. Literally comparing them because they are both Black, in similar weight classes, and can switch hit lol

Boots fights more like a Taebo version of Roy Jones Jr... Abdullah Mason to me is the guy who has the best comparison of Crawford. An elite Boxer who likes to Brawl, great jab, elite footwork, very elite inside fighting. Abdullah is the future man :wow:

Yall sound naive like yall don’t understand the business of boxing. Boxing is a business first. Why are yall acting like dumb naive fans?

PBC had all the relevant WWs. As a fighter, if he wanted access to their stable, that’s who you sign with. Fighters go where the action is, whether that is going to a specific weight class or signing with a promoters for certain fights. This is the game, whether you like it or not.

Shane signed with Top rank to get the Pac fight. It is what it is. Crawford never showed that kind of assertiveness until the end of his career.

When Crawford signed an extension with Top Rank back in 2018, a few of us were like :what:. We already went over this, in real time.

That was like the equivalent of Stevenson signing with PBC/Showtime when the fight was there to be made with Kovalev.

And then Crawford acts silly in the media like he doesn’t know the ramifications of extending with Top Rank. Cmon bruh

In the end it all worked out. He made a lot of money while minimizing risk. If you can’t see that you weren’t analyzing his moves in real time. He was hustling the game.

"Bu bu bu why didn't Bud just sign with PBC instead of resigning with PBC??"

Any company that has the GALL to make graphics like this on a live broadcast or has live press conferences to destroy his character and his name.... knows that PBC would never put him as a priority had he went there. Anytime any of yall Floyd/PBC weirdos want to bring up this fake narrative, I would be right here to repost this picture....over.... and over.... and over again

Brolic... Alcoholics
He basically pulled a Bud, just with a different promoter. He wanted to chill and just take easy fights on PBC. Same shyt Bud did with Top Rank.

Superman’s underwhelming run on PBC is basically how I view Crawfords entire career on top rank

Yall gonna say Superman was being blackballed by HBO fighters? :jbhmm: Or do yall suddenly recognize it’s a business and understand why HBO, Kkk, and Ward weren’t “interested” in him?

Ehh... Haymon was hiding them nikkas. He knew what time it was. :heh:

Connor-Mitchell-1-2000x833.jpg

OCTOBER 16 2025

Matchroom Boxing is delighted to announce the latest, exciting addition to its elite global stable of fighters as Connor Mitchell – son of British boxing cult hero, Kevin Mitchell – signs with promoter Eddie Hearn on a long-term deal.
The two-time amateur National Champion, 20, enters the professional ranks with his debut – live on the Global Home of Boxing, DAZN – set to be announced in due course.

Managed by Conor Benn, advised by Lee Emptage, and trained by Lewis Passfield, the livewire Super Bantamweight is already dreaming of surpassing his father’s fabled feats in the sport with his heart and head firmly set on one day winning a World Title.
“I’m buzzing,” said Mitchell, who like his legendary Dad, Kevin, is East End born and bread and a huge supporter of West Ham United Football Club.

“I’ve wanted to do this since I was a kid and sign with Matchroom Boxing so I’m excited to start things off.
“I started boxing when I was 10 years old for about a year but I couldn’t deal with the pressure of being known as Kevin Mitchell’s son. At that age it was a lot so I went back to playing football at a high level but I hated losing, which in a team game is not all down to you. Then I went back to the gym a few years later without telling my Dad and started training for a couple of weeks but he eventually found out and I’ve been working ever since.

“I had 46 fights and lost 5, two time National Champion and won the Senior Elite ABA’s this year alongside the Haringey Box Cup. I did go for a GB assessment but they took my weight class out of the Olympics so I thought there’s no real point in me staying around so I turned over.”

Fewer understand the ‘Father and Son’ parallels better than Benn – who on November 15 faces Chris Eubank Jr in a highly anticipated rematch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

And Mitchell believes Benn’s support and expertise will put him on the path to superstardom.
“Conor Benn is advising me with things. He’s helping me with stuff behind the scenes, even seeing him at the recent press conference and seeing how it works up close,” said Mitchell, speaking to Matchroom Boxing’s Flash Knockdown Podcast.

“I’m going to be making Super Bantamweight and will be looking to make my debut in December. I’m a right handed southpaw who can punch. I’m going to be trained by amateur coach Lewis Passfield, he’s a great coach.”
The hard work begins now with Mitchell determined to go one step further than his father Kevin and one day realise his dream of ruling the world.

“My Dad should’ve been a World Champion, he got so close but I want to show him I can go better and lift the World Title,” he said.
“We’re very alike as people but we decided to have a Father and Son relationship rather than a coach and fighter. I’ve trained with him since I was 14 but he’s happy for me and will be behind me the whole way.”

Matchroom Sport chairman Eddie Hearn is hugely excited about Mitchell’s future ahead – insisting he has the potential to become a household name in the sport. “He’s from good stock and he’s in great hands,” said Hearn.

“We truly are thrilled to be working with Connor and his team. The plan is to get him out for his debut before the end of the year, then keep him active and learning throughout 2026. I’ve got no doubt he’ll be a massive ticket seller like his Dad – and he has bundles of ability to entertain fans up and down the country. The road to becoming a World Champion starts now.”

At this point, anybody who still believes them PBC boys weren't ducking Terence Crawford is a genetically retarded PBC dikk sucker/bud hater.

Just pay attention to the ones making them claims. Then go look at their predictions in the Spence vs bud fight thread :russ:…..they been rooting against bud the whole way.

Errol Spence told bud TO HIS FACE that it was better for him to take the “easy road” instead of facing him:mjlol:…..there’s really no other way to spin this. If this was any other fighter y’all would be ripping them to shreds. But cause it was the pbc darling, y’all gave him a pass for this blatant duck job. Bud was literally chasing Spence down and begging him to fight and yall got the audacity to claim he didn’t want it :dead:…..and the only reason it finally happened is cause BUD got Spence’s number and got him on the phone and basically had to beg him to do the right thing. Spence ducked bud for at least 4 years and that’s a straight up fact.
