Three absolute worst thing that happened is the first fight being a draw because regardless of how the second fight went, there would be a trilogy.

I always felt that Fury outboxed him enough in the first fight to make me believe that a second fight would be a complete lesson. I had no idea he would beat Wilder up the way that he did. I don't think anyone expected that.

i didnt either but the way fury shattered wilder's mystique completely..unexpected..the "you have to be perfect..." shyt wilder was on backfired when fury kept on getting up from multiple killshots..fury really did a number on wilder's punch resistance

I was the opposite, I can admit I was completely blindsided by what would happen at the 2nd fight

I thought Fury was that close to being knocked out in the 1st fight, and the ref had that long count that allowed Furry to recover. Credit to Fury for getting back up and actually being close to winning that same round he got knocked down in

What I should have seen was your thinking. Wilder gave Fury his best shot, and Fury STILL got up. That was a sign that it was over for Wilder as far as his confidence and aura, he was now "found out" by everyone

That second fight was one of the worst beatings I'd ever seen a champion take in real time. I'm only saying it that way because I wasn't alive for Ali/Holmes.

I legit thought he would be slick and take him to school. But Fury outboxed him, out muscled him, and just flat out bullied him.

Wow, did not know Wilder dropped Malik Scott as a trainer
Wilder should have never had him as a trainer, absolutely terrible chemistry with each other

I wish Wilder had Freddy Roach as a trainer. He is a great offensive coach. He would have just leaned into what Wilder already does best. His athleticism, his speed, just being able to disguise the right hand, etc.... Lost opportunity

I actually like Malik as a trainer, just not for Wilder.

Too much of a homeboy vibe. Wilder needed an older authority figure like Breland.

Well except for me of course. :mjlol:

Called that shyt to the exact round lol. Pat knows whats up.

Soon as Fury posted that pic of his weight gain. I knew he was gonna walk dude down and stop him, back foot boxing be damned.

Terence Crawford receives new fight proposal from Manny Pacquiao's former rival

"He said: "Thurman versus Crawford, I still think he wants to come back down. I still think that’s something for us.

“We should we should run it. Step in one time with the 'One Time', I think I can entice Bud a little bit.

“I don’t know what entices him these days, but I feel like maybe, just maybe, the green belt might entice him just a little bit."

:heh::heh::heh::heh:

If Crawford comes back it’ll be to make Middleweight Great Again. Boys better line themselves up against Midames or Janibek/Lara winner. That nikka isn’t going back to 154.

Bud should make Thurman, the clear B side, come up with the $10million they demanded of Top Rank back in the day :mjlol:
Thurman was supposed to get $1.5m for fighting Fundora, times is hard out here :pachaha:

I guess I'm in the minority, but I actually think Joshua is a HOFer.:manny:

He kinda held down the HWs when everyone was fukking off. Beat the most top ten contenders too. Unified the title. Gave us a FOTY too.
Put mma fans back in their place by bodying the nikka that got robbed against Fury.

Getting his ass kicked in the states and never coming back really hurts his career tho. That wasn't a good look at all.

I guess he brought the wrong Eddie when coming to America. That bar never gets old, got damn I was on one with that. :russ:

I think he is too. He actually went and got his belts back. That has to count for something. Wilder on the other hand never got close to sniffing a title shot again.

It does look funny that he never came back to the states after getting packed up tho.
