Wow, good for Jared Anderson. Looks like he wants to take his career seriously again

Or maybe Top Rank is just feeding him to Usyk for one last pay day :mjlol::francis:.We shall see
He gets stopped. Beats a nobody. And now fights for a mandatory??

Sucka shyt from Porter.

Porter is one of THE dumbest analyst in boxing, which is why I unsubscribed from his shytty podcast years ago.

It just amazes me that you have a professional fighter that doesn’t know shyt about his own sport. :snoop:

Why the fukk would they be afraid of Norman? There is nothing Norman does that poses a threat to a high level boxer. Matchmaker Bill knows this, which is why there was no resistance in making the fight.

lots of boxers dont know their sport like that...from pros all the way down..shyt fabio wardley is a whole world heavyweight champion but could barely name his fellow fighters when asked.....i always found that odd as fukk..personally if im doing a sport for a living, id want to know more about it .i get it though..most fight for money or whatever...but if you're on the media side, you should know your fukking sport and whats going on in it...thats why its odd to me why porter finds so much work as an analyst on multiple promotions TV cards plus having a podcast presence

I really have a pet peeve about nyggas looking foolish publicly. I can’t stand it. When he was on proboxtv, it drove me crazy to see Pauline & Algeri making him look stupid with their knowledge on the sport. Hell, even the moderator was more knowledgeable.

That white boy in the clip Shawn knows significantly more as well.

Shawn doesn’t know any history, can’t make predictions, doesn’t know strategy, etc. yeah It’s disturbing as hell.

he did..kenny porter had him boxing at 5..porter had the legit amateur foundation..he's not like a failed football player that decided to take up boxing in their 20s or whatever..which is why it makes no sense why his commentary is so bad

It dawned on me that Porter is just BSing through all his analyst gigs, and I have stopped giving a shyt about anything he says.

He doesn't break news, he doesn't give any good insight or analysis. He can't even be bothered to do any research for the segments he does.

Max Kellerman weighs in to talk about Devin Haney

This exposes a huge flaw in the boxing HOF, specifically in the lower weight classes.

Max says he would vote Devin Haney into the HOF today, but believes he’s only fought one great fighter and loss. I don’t agree that HE should vote him in the HOF if he truly believes that.

This is why I weigh resume over everything. I keep into mind accomplishments, but understand how a clever maneuvering works by targeting the weakest title holders. In all fairness to the fighter, they still have to execute the plan. However, there’s just too many options to get a world title in lower weight classes.

There’s just too many weight classes and these guys have mastered how to make weight. These nyggas will move up, and still struggle to make weight in their new weight class in the very first fight lol.

Just think about this. If you’re a big 135 pounder, you got 12 different options for world titles. You got the 4 titles in your own weight class, the titles at 140, and at 147. Hell if your frame is big enough for 154, that’s 16 different options.

Look at David Benevidaz. If Benavidaz wins a title a CW, is he a HOFer? Lol

If Tank targets the weakest title holders at 147, and wins, is he a HOFer?

the thing is as time goes by people will remember the stat padding accomplishments and the nuance vanishes.

Its like the PBC 147 Era and 140 run, Did Bud beat a Mid generation or was he that great (The Canelo win you can say shut down any naysayer).

Devin beat the weakest unified champ in history damn near lol, Loma fight I felt he won but was close as fukk but was Loma washed? all the other people pre undisputed were washed, Regis is seen as ass but that wasn't the case around the Josh Taylor fight, Ryan Garcia has been considered a Wilder type fighter in that he is ass but has an equalizer.
