Don't think many people rank Vitali in the Top 10 P4P. The WBC sure does lol But that's a different story...

I suppose if you want to use a fighter's record for determining lb for lb, you have to keep Ward in there since he beat everyone in the division. Lucky for him most super middleweights are signed to companies other than Top Rank and Golden Boy so he's been able to navigate when he was very active.

If the determination is based on achievement in a spectrum of weight classes, while remaining undefeated, you'd have to take Ward out since all of his victories were within one weight division if i'm not mistaken and now he's inactive. Other high ranked best "pound for pound" selections achieved victories in a variety of weight classes.

I dunno, he definitely is a lb for lb notable. I'm familiar with Mares but not as tuned in to him to make that determination. I'm going to have to think about that some more.

Mares is a fukking beast....he should a been P4P before moving up N knocking out PDL

According to many you need to be active to stay atop P4P that's why was ahead of Floyd....so I see no problem dropping Ward he hasnt fought in forever, has no fight set up, N the fight he does want is against a scrub

Ward be feeling himself waaaay to much...doesnt wanna fight outside of the Bay, didnt wanna fight Bute, wouldnt give Dawson a Catch Weight, wont move up N wont move down in weight yet doesnt wanna rematch Froch the ONLY respectable opponent in that weak ass division
