Weekend Wrap-Up

Mayweather...Great win over a great fighter gave us an all action gritty bout before his jail term, do the right thing Pac/Arum...

Cotto...still an elite fighter and one of the best fighters in the 154 division, could be headed towards a clash with Alvarex next...

Alvarez...for a guy so young, he's as impressive as it gets. 21 years old, 40-0-1, sky's the limit for this kid. Can you imagine when he's 25?! James Kirkland may be up next

Mosley...it's about that time mayne...one more farewell bout in L.A. then gracefully bow out.

Jessie Vargas...ZZZZZZZ, still very young but a good boxer but not ready for the mid levels or elite. Maybe a bout with Matthew Hatton or undefeated Shawn Porter.

Steve Forbes...dude must be broke...

Carlos Quintana...this guy has KO'd everyone he's faced at 154...legit guy, good boxer. He's ready for a top mid-level guy but not a title shot, not yet.

Deandre Latimore...shocker, one win over Powell and a great showing against Spinks and......POOF.......he's regressed ever since, something's wrong

Stieglitz...meh, he won. Should've stopped the last minute replacement. Bute/Froch winner next?...

Marco Huck...should seriously consider moving up permanently to heavyweight, why he moved back down after giving Povetkin hell is a mystery to me.

Ola Afolabi...is it me, or does this guy fight like he's drunk :wtf:

Rafael Marquez...Umm, welcome back?

Chris John...no love for this guy, fight an elite challenger already

DeMarcus Chop-Chop Corley...UPSET, wow, good shyt. Would love to see him and Nate Campbell go at it.

Forgot one...

Kubrat Pulev...VERY impressed with this guy, didn't think in this short amount of time he could go the distance, he has a very bright future as long as he stays focused and in shape.

Dimitrenko might just hand em up, he can't compete at the elite heavyweight level

watching old fights, and seeing what the sport once was, would probably make this current era look even worse. promoters have far too much control of the sport. no one fights anybody. "prospects" are protected and receive biased scoring to further the coddling of these guys. way, way too many titles. too many weight classes. theres some weight classes divided by 3 fukking pounds. :wtf: straighten the shyt out, and ill be back. until then, ill enjoy the casual side of the fence

this pretty much sums it up. good listen

that was a great podcast, usually listen to all the boxing ones but can't believe i missed that.

prince been managing dre ever since he turned pro. prince manages mosley i think as well. he has to be useful for something if boxers are signing with him.

Mosleys a nice guy, he aint gunna rock the boat that much, plus hes alredy been royally fukked anyway by his ex-wife
The settlement provides that ex-wife Jin "shall maintain custody and control of three championship belts for each of the respective parties' three minor children." Each of the kids get a belt when they turn 18.

And Jin will get half of Sugar Shane's cut of profits from videotapes and DVDs of his big fights, including bouts with Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto and Fernando Vargas.

Since the divorce was filed in California and community property rules apply, Jin gets half of Sugar Shane's fight purses during their marriage.

I just cannot see Dre earnin the most he can do with his skill with J Prince at his side. Theres a reason why Floyd fled him as soon as he could..

Damn. 41 fights in 7 years for alvarez. Impressive workrate. He almost has as many as floyd and he's 14 years his junior.

I say floyd fights pacman(wishing), Then finishes his career against the young canelo. In a years time, Canelo should be ready.
