Only now, people don't thirst for boxing, people don't yearn to see boxing, people don't care about boxing. The stars of yester year are GONE. The heavyweight division is DEAD. The credibility is DEAD. The excitement is GONE.

I'm not saying UFC is taking its place, what I am saying, is boxing is NOT a top tier sport in this country anymore, and is not revered like futbol is around the world, and is dead with one of two major stars being defiled right in front of the world.

You can't repeatedly knock someone in the head while they're sleep and not expect them to wake up, people are wising up to the corruption and are turning away. This HURT BAD and Mayweather is in jail.

As for boxing? It was never the same for me after Roy Jones lost the Tarver fights but Mayweather had an impressive streak and you had to be a FOOL to think that Manny Pac was gonna beat Floyd Mayweather 7/12 rounds. Unless Mayweather is injured, that just was not gonna happen without him getting old.


UFC is far more entertaining...but don't expect too much from it...fighters get robbed all the time in MMA.

With the exception of the Royce Gracie era, UFC has never been better than a great boxing match.
