When you say better team, what do you mean?
trainer to start with

Roach isnt going to help him reach the level his talent should have him.

a bad chin can be protected, but Roach aint about that.

But idk, maybe I just like that guy's talent too much that im deluding myself. He does have low ring IQ and bad feet. I just think things would get better for him with proper defense, and Roach is incapable of that.

Khan is not finished, imo

he just needs a better team around him.

what team? he is a simpleton, he will not pick up. Unless they do a rocky 3 on him..remember when they took balboa to the hood and got living straight ghetto and training the apollo creed manner!!

khan is controlled by his family, they have no ties to boxing and milked plenty already..im pretty sure they will entice him to retire after one more big fight in the UK.

He kinda is. No matter who he fights at 147, he always runs the risk of getting KO'd. Ortiz, Berto, Lopez, Bradley. I don't see a winning fight for him at 47 unless he completely changes his approach and becomes a solid effective "defense first type fighter" and moves away from the "flashy handspeed watch these combos" type of fighter. He just doesn't have the chin for that style.

khan fought the wrong fight tonight period. if he would've stayed on the outside and used his jab instead of pressing the action we wouldn't be shyttin on him. at the same time he drops his hand toooooooooooooooooooooooooo low in exchanges. thats just not his forte, thats cool for the fans but thats just going to get him hurt.

not the biggest khan nor do i hate the guy i like to see fighters lose like this and "comeback". i dont think he's done, shyt when paulie is champ at 147 and he lost to cotto and hatton and khan. bailey got ko'd by urango and cotto and he's champ again. i think he has the skillset, and most of all a nice jab.

i really wouldn't be surprised if a fight with berto came up at the same time it will be interesting on how he approaches his next fight.

Almost feel sorry for Amir Khanvas, he has the chin of a current Roy Jones. Guess he can say goodbye to hopes of facing Mayweather, and I see some people talking about Garcia vs Mayweather :usure:

khan was starting off well. Garcia landed low a few times...khan saw blood and wanted to attack more, that left was going for the kill all along and caught him. bayliss helped khan out and garcia started to miss with swinging shots..but khan was basically done. End of..

dope fight..khan is always in some tear ups.

bad luck kid.

whoa at that khan-garcia scrap. it felt like amir's handspeed would be the difference- but he just leaves himself open too much. 1 punch and everything changed. it was like a football game where a team is dominating but only up by 3 pts, then throw a pick 6.

there was no reason for amir to keep fighting like that, he coulda wore garcia down eventually cause he was landing cleaner shots- you get caught like that and there was no way he would recover from that. he was still dazed for the whole 4th lol- you had floyd waiting in the wings too. shoulda just boxed to a sound decision.

it felt like garcia would land something, cause as the fight went on, garcia started landing cleanly in the exchange even with khan connecting. good fight- boxing would be better to have these fights on cable more often rather than murking people money on ppv

If Khan splits from Freddie i can see him goin to McCracken (perfect name) or even Booth.

Shame Manny Steward is gettin on in years he would teach Khan how to use his height and jab properly

Fair enough, Khan still has no defensive skills and comes across as a raw amateur at times.

Khan messed up letting Ariza go, he could have used some of that special brew :youngsabo:

exactly, khan would have made this a easy night of work fighting on the outside.

im curious as to what gbp will do with garcia. i would like to see a fight with him and matthysee ( a fight which he deserves). fuked up thing is that garcia will have to vacant his wbc title, but has the wba though. :smh:
