While this fight was ugly as fukk I think it was just the type of fight Khan needed...a grimy fight against a tough and game fighter.
At the end of the day it wasn't pretty but Khan dominated the entire fight.

I think this was the perfect fight to get him a match with Floyd...it showed he can fight smart and also gut it out when the fight gets rough and ugly.
I also think he is a worthy candidate just because it would be a change of pace from the standard Floyd opponent. Something different from the same old same old would be appreciated as far as I am concerned.
