Porter can win because he can swarm floyd like maidana and he throws fast short combos. Thurman needs a little distance, and you cant really catch floyd like that.

That's true. I'd still favor Floyd over both of them, but I would love to see those fights. Chino was a 10-1 underdog and still did pretty good. I feel both have a more polished style. Thurman just needs to beat some bigger names. Porter needs to beat Brook and he should be ready.

As for Sept., who besides Maidana is a better option?
-Khan has Ramadan, so he isnt an option (and sounds like cats dont want to see that anyway)
-Thurman/ Porter- not main event PPV ready yet, but both great fighters
-Pacquiao- just signed a new deal with Arum/ HBO, and is trying hard to get that Marquez V fight on.

If porter can beat brook like paulie or alexander, i'd say he has a real good shot at landing the big fight next year. I dont see anybody else impressive as much as hes been lately.

So.....what does that mean? That B fighter also got his ass whooped by Devon Alexander and lost to Khan and Kotelnik


He's a solid B fighter.

AB's a B fighter as well. He beat Molina 8 rounds to 2, but he didnt dominate him the way I wanted to see an elite fighter do....which confirms to me his B status.

He will still become Champion at 140 though
