Am I the only one that's not even remotely hyped for marquez-alvarado. I didn't even know the shyt was next week til the homie reminded me. complete waste of a fight if you ask me. and watch the shyt fukk around and be a FOTY candidate:dahell:
I have feeling its going to be like JMM vs Michael katsidis which was a good scrap.

This gonna be the best 24/7 we've seen in a long time. Martinez hates Cotto--I love that shyt
Cotto is everything Martinez wishes to be, or rather thinks he deserves

got the support and rabid fans from the 1st fight, Martinez had to fight around the world for 10 years until anyone gave a damn about him. The champ and still the B side!

There's another Cuban out here making noise...Cruiserweight Yunier Dorticos

Yoan Pablo Hernandez stays injured but he's still the top dawg by default, but what do you guys think about this guy? :ehh:

Stiverne vs Wilder is a great fight to see what Wilder is made of. Stiverne can take a punch and is a big puncher himself. Wilder is more athletically gifted, but I don't think he can handle Stiverne's power.
Wilder needs to use his jab keep Stiverne back and show us what type of boxing skills he has.
I honestly think that Wilder is skills deficient and his camp putting him in with 31 bums has only served to gas him up into thinking he is such an unstoppable juggernaut that he feels he can KO everybody with one punch in 30 seconds.
I see him getting a rude awakening against Stiverne and getting KTFO.

Imagine if we got a return of the 4-5-6 punch combo floyd. You know he's always trying to impress SR(rather than roger) what if we saw a return of the old aggressive floyd
How many years have Floyd fans been wishing and hoping for this? It's not happening, man. This is the way Floyd fights now and he is never going back to that old style and it def won't happen listening to Floyd Sr who seems to preach defense over everything else.

Thing about cuban fighters is once they step up in class they get their ass handed to them.

i always think that once they become more americanized and start picking up bad habits then they usually go south lol

I think it boils down to the amateur 4 round fights in Cuba. Hard to deprogram your body to go 12 rounds.

I agree. He hasn't had the natural progression in opponents to build up to someone like Stiverne. I think it would be in his best interest to start fighting more live dogs, before he starts jumping in with other deserving contenders. Wilder has some talent and great power, so I think he has very good potential, but I think like a lot of people believe he probably isn't seasoned enough. I wouldn't be surprised if Stiverne KO's him.
I always wanted Wilder to face Fury first. That would be a good scrap.

W. Klitschko wants Stiverne's belt - Dan Rafael Blog - ESPN

Klitschko wants to fight Stiverne next and is willing to come to the US. Klitschko's mandatory is Pulev for the IBF belt. Rafael states that the IBF gives precedence to unification bouts, so if he petitioned they would most likely allow him to fight Stiverne next.
Also reported that Stiverne was non-committal in if he would want to face Klitschko in his post fight press conference.
Sounds like it is up to Stiverne whether he fights his mandatory Wilder, or goes for the unification bout vs. Klitschko.
