Neither can Mayweather yet he lets his opponents fight at 154...what's Pac's excuse?

Yea but he came in weighing at 151, Pac barely made 147 for the 1st time this year... I guess now he has to jump a whole notha weight class... why?? Because Floyd did it??

You do know Floyd Excuses mayweather is naturally bigger than Pac right??

Man calm yo fakkit ass down lil nikka :skip:

wheres all the arguments saying Cotto tries to slow pac down by making him gain weight for a fight?? this whole weight thing is BS!!!

"I will not fight below 150-pounds," Cotto

Thats what he said last time they negotiated.. which was this year... Pac agrees to fight him at 150

Niether of them have a belt.. so what's the problem??

The problem is Cotto been at 54 for quite some time now yet Pac the catch weight king stays asking for a rematch at a catch weight...you dont call someone out N ask for a catch weight...Floyd called out DLH n fought him at 54...Dawson called out Ward N fightin him at 68

nikkas like Bradley N the Ghost who are small af say theyll fight Cotto at 54 :umad:

You cry sayin you want the best fights right?? How is draining Cotto the best fight?? I thought Cotto at 54 wasnt shyt no way so why drain him?? So whats the problem??:leostare:

The problem is that you conveniently ignore the fact that Pac cant make the weight you want him to fight Cotto at... and you also ignore the fact that there's no belt on the line.. And before Cotto lost to Mayweather it was no problem as long as he didn't go below 150.. I if Cotto can make 150 and Pac can make 147, whats the problem ??

Other than fights involving Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., the middleweight world title showdown between Sergio Martinez (49-2-2, 28 KOs), the lineal champion, and alphabet titleholder Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-0-1, 32 KOs) is the biggest fight of 2012. As such, HBO is pulling out all the stops to market and promote the Sept. 15 HBO PPV bout from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

That means a "Face Off" and episodes of "24/7."

"Face Off with Max Kellerman: Chavez Jr./Martinez" will debut Aug. 25 (HBO, 12:45 a.m. ET/PT with numerous replays). As usual, Kellerman will moderate a spirited discussion between the two fighters, who will answer his questions and can also address each other face to face. Because Martinez and Chavez both speak primarily Spanish, there was real-time translation done during the session to make it easier for the fighters and Kellerman to understand each other, so it should come across well, albeit with subtitles.

The two-part "24/7 Chavez Jr./Martinez" series debuts on Sept. 1 (HBO, 11:45 p.m. ET/PT). The second episode premiers Sept. 8 (12:30 a.m. ET/PT), a big night for HBO boxing, which will also be airing the Andre Ward-Chad Dawson super middleweight world championship card from Oakland, Calif.

"24/7," narrated by the silky-smooth voice of Liev Schreiber, will follow Chavez and Martinez as they prep for their much-anticipated showdown.

pacquaio-cotto 2 aint happening, i dont know why people are even entertaining that shyt especially at 150. cotto fell for that catchweight shyt once it aint happening again. pacquaio can fight jmm, or bradley and it will do good numbers on ppv.

i think a person under the radar who wouldnt surprise me as pacquaios next opponent is Lamont Peterson.

Personally I don't want to see any of these proposed rematches for Pac

-Everybody with a brain know Pac beat Bradley
-Pac and JMM will always have close competitive fights
-Pac already beat the shyt out of a younger Cotto.

TR hasn't been building up any dudes for Pac to fight like Goldenboy been doing for Floyd.
Guys like Berto and Peterson are interesting but they haven't had any recent performance to help build interest. Mike Jones is still picking his jaw up off the canvas. Bailey and Alexander already set to fight. Garcia rematching Morales. Kell Brook is unknown to most cats in the states.

Looks like Pac might be fukked. :ld:

Pac vs anybody is going to draw interest/money. i think peterson-pacquaio is refreshing and a helluva fight and i rather see that than any of the other fights out there.

True, i just think all the PED controversy with Peterson would put a damp on things and dude hasn't fought since December. If he had like a FNF type match and then jumped into it I'd prolly be more cool with it, but at this rate you right. Just throw both of them in the ring and fukk it.

I always liked the match up though. It's a winnable fight for Pac and Peterson isn't a spoiler so you know he'll go out on his shield so the fight would be entertaining.

:laff:

i'll most likely watch it cause im a boxing fan but at the same time i nor 90% of boxing fans in the states give a shyt about that fight. i never even heard of charr before until the fight got made.

Charr said he is mega broke so this way he gets some fame and some money...he is unbeaten though

I do hope Vitali loses the elections I really want to see him smash David Haye

funny u say that because margarito getting caught with that bullshyt in his gloves and coming back from suspension and got the pacquaio fight. it was a exciting fight and the numbers were good.

pacs last 2 fights were supposed to be "winnable" :laff: i thought he lost the marquez fight and won the bradley fight. neither fight was easy.
