Groves threw a nice ass right hand in the 7th. Made Froch think twice for a minute.
Damn, went 3-2 this weekend. fukking Groves and Gonzales both took the L.
Nice to see that we got 3 KO of the year candidates in one weekend. Povetkin, Walters, and Froch landed some mean finishers.
Donaire looked better than he did last year, but you can still tell that he slipped a lil, but at least he was trying harder this time around. That knockdown was brutal.
Froch still gets outboxed or thrashed until he ends up out toughing his opponent and coming on strong. Nothing new really. Ward would still beat him again and I think GGG whups him too. Wouldn't mind seeing that Chavez Jr fight tho.

groves missed a few power shots and nearly paid for that earlier on..]he started to get to carl before the KO, what a shame.

this will happen to sergio next week. LOL
This is the thing with Groves. His biggest flaw is his over stressed crouched over stance. He can't really fight relaxed in that position so he stays intense as fukk for every minute until he eventually burns out his stamina. Groves gets visibly tired after 5 rounds on some Pascal type shyt and it's not like he's even throwing that many shots either.
Groves has everything else on point. He's got quick hands. good power, head movement, but that fukking stance has got to go. He can't get the most out of his good attributes due to that weakness.
