But I think that Floyd Mayweather has been better marketed and I think that he's been able to build up a name for himself. Ward is just a younger guy who can do some of the same things that Mayweather can do.

It was sad watched that Froch-Ward fight. Froch's slow ass was eating punches all night. Froch v GGG/JCCjr would do numbers in Vegas. Expect 20k English fans come across for the fight

You stated that He didnt want to sell out the stadium, but wanted to maximise revenue (this just has me , just doesnt make sense)

He did sell more tickets, but didnt make as much money in the process . . . and Top rank had to give away 16k seats between the 2 Pac fights there to make it look less pathetic


But you're shying away from revenue, my original point was Pac headlined Cowboys stadium twice and didnt even half fill a 105k stadium. That is fact.

How does any of this stop Floyd from fighting in a larger venue and trying to get a bigger crowd... Is your point that since Pac and Arum failed, Floyd will fail too??

At least Pac and Arum attempted to pack a stadium rather than pac a small room charging $700 for seats all the way in the back (room too small to call them nose bleeds)

He's a lil better than Woods, but that's not saying much. Every time I hear Froch is top 10 p4p material I just think how much the bar has been lowered for top 10 p4p rankings.

-Dude gets hit with his opponents best punch over and over
-Has an epic struggle with damn near everybody
-Can only win fights by out toughing his opponent
-Got a hometown gift against Dirrell and then complains when it happens against him in the 1st fight Kessler (Carl got outworked in that one clearly too)

I have no problem if cats say he's 11-20 p4p, but with that top 10 shyt. Donaire loses to Rigo and he goes from top 5 to damn off the list completely and he's never looked as vulnerable as much as Froch has in most of his fights. Since when did being the 2nd best boxer in your division get you top 10 p4p status. If that's the case The Machine would be right up there with Swift on them lists.

He's not beating Ward, but he's far from just an average fighter. He's legit imo, and gives problems to both GGG and JCC Jr

i developed a grudging respect for froch ever since that fight with abraham..where i expect him to get KTFO dude instead showed textbook boxing skills i didnt even think he did had and shut him out...froch will always have issues with athletic boxers (ward, dirrell (did not win this fight IMO), groves, taylor) due to his style and not be really fast but he digs deep and wins..gotta respect that...smug b*stard though

I like Canelo, but nobody in their right mind would have him top 10 p4p. Like Seriously. Dude just started fighting legit threats in his division just last year.

Pac, Bradley, JMM, and Hopkins are dudes that have longevity at the top with much better wins and performances than Froch has. Yeah they got losses, but none of them have been shut out by a person with only one good hand either or needed to have epic come backs damn near every fight in order to win.
