... the Texas Boxing Commission is now analyzing video of the fight which some say shows Maidana taking what looks like a pill during the WBA welterweight championship fight last Saturday.

The rules are so strict ... even water needs to be tested prior to a fight before the boxer can consume it. Pills and any other substance for that matter are off limits.

Broner -- who was previously undefeated -- says the loss hasn't shattered his ego ... he's confident the investigation will prove Maidana cheated.

We're told the boxing commission will reveal the results of the investigation in 1-2 days.

At the end of the day, we lost, but I still think Ariza cheated in that fight and it was obvious to me. No smelling salts in between the end of the 11th and beginning of the 12th round, the story could be a little different...or not. We will never know.

That's ridiculous. Fans just like the wild swinging. The other dude looked like a punch chucker. He rushed inside and threw his combos real quick then backed away and didn't do anything until he rushed in again.
You had a style and game plan. Pumped the jab, circled around and threw punches when he left openings. All things you would expect from a fighter training to break down his opponent and take advantage of what he gives you.

Ariza needs to just start training on his own N build up a lil stable of his own...make a name for himself working with up n comers until an established dude fukks with him
