If you saw the fight, it was evident after the 8th round that Cotto was running on E.
If memory serves me correct after winning rd 8 he was finished N stopped goin after Floyd with the same energy.. he lost the championship rds easily N was buzzed like a muthafukker in the final rd
Floyd adjusting doesn't change the fact that Cotto's punch output completely dropped. He wasn't even throwing that much.I attributed the change in round 8+ to Floyd adjusting, not Cotto weakening.
Good points but I dont think that will be a problem against CaneloFloyd adjusting doesn't change the fact that Cotto's punch output completely dropped. He wasn't even throwing that much.
For 8 rounds he kept coming at Floyd with high activity, cornering him and throwing. Then all of a sudden he just stops. He faded, which made it easier for Floyd to pick him apart.
Cotto has always had this problem
Cotto has more experience. Just like in the Floyd fight against Canelo, it will make a difference.I still think cotto/canelo is a 50/50 fight![]()

Has Canelo ever really been hurt like that tho? This version of Cotto lights up a flat footed Canelo.
Only time I can remember him being really hurt was against Cotto's older brother Jose, but Canelo was still a teenager at the timeHas Canelo ever really been hurt like that tho?

canelo with the strength and speed (hands) will be an issue..plus canelo has no problem cutting the ring down..If Canelo/Cotto gets made I'll take whatever bets you nikkas want, Canelo going to have him taking a knee saying "no mas"![]()
