If Chavez really is trying to go back down to 160 and fight Cotto who just moved up from 154.
:rudy: I dont need to see 6' + and 180 pound on fight night fighting the 5'7" 160 pound Cotto.

In the meantime I think Cotto-Canelo is more likely. It is a better matchup and size wise they are closer. This matchup would be exciting.

A Chavez Jr vs. Cotto fight is going to look like a father whupping on his teenage son because he brought the car back late.

I'll still watch it, but I rather see Cotto fight #KirklandKutThroat or #GGGoodBoys

I wanna see a Chavez/Froch fight. or Chavez/Pascal.

Cotto got the mw belt if he's too small for middleweight then drop the belt

Canelo Cotto ain't goin be easy to make as errybody wants it to be.. that's why its already been said no for 2014

We jus seen Gamboa who has no business at 135 fight Crawford who blew up to junior middle on fight night

Muhfukkers was :stylin: for crawford...HBO called him front runner for fighter of the year:comeon:

Jcc jr vs Cotto is no where near as bad as Gamboa Crawford

I gotta agree with this.

We all at least expected Gamboa to be competitive with Crawford and to his credit he was, but nobody really thinks Cotto is going to be competitive with Chavez jr like that.

With that said, if Chavez jr can get down to 160, then that's not his problem. That's Cotto's :demonic:

I have no problem with that fight. I still rather see Kirkland/Cotto, but if he were to fight Chavez than I'm good with that too.

nikkas gotta start holding everybody to the same standards.

Golovkin might as well give up hoping for a Cotto fight because there is no reason on Earth for Cotto to fight him.
It is the definition of high risk/low reward because Golovking brings nothing to the table financially at all. he won't juice attendance or PPV buys. All he brings ins the possibility of a KO defeat and at this point in Cotto's career he doesn't have to take that risk.
He will have to make due fighting a steady stream of middle of the road MW's for the foreseeable future.

So in other words, Cotto is gonna duck GGG like a bytch. :mjpls:

There is no way...i repeat NO WAY Cotto is fighting Golovkin...

Cotto has no chance whatsoever of winning that fight and Roach knows it...It's also a completely unnecessary fight for Cotto at this stage of his career...He has nothing to prove against Golovkin...we all know Cotto is not a MW...He will wisely take his last big pay day against Canelo/Floyd and retire...

Nikka please let Cotto or Chavez land those same shots Geale did, elite level fighters don't fall down like Geale did twice yesterday also.................

Cotto would be able to outbox Jr, GGG + canelo, but they would hurt and probably stop him. ggg would brutally stop him

some of yall hating, questioning GGGs power....From what I seen its all natural...just born with it man..Hes been fighting how long now? He would of been found out and exposed.Hes had it even before his pro career like tyson.

With him I think its his lankyness and torque that he puts in his punches (like hitman hearns) mix with something we cant see..his skeletal structure..dude most likely a thick bone having(pause) b*stard.

all that coming at you...and when it connects!:banderas:

This coming from a nikka whose spent the last 5 years defending a dude blatantly ducking steroid tests...:beli:

Why should Cotto fight Golovkin? What is he gaining from fighting that beast other than another KO loss on his resume? Cotto is no a MW, he's old, he's been in multiple wars and his fighting days are numbered...A fighter in Cotto's position taking the biggest pay day is not ducking, its called being smart...
