Oh exactly, the cold war is stopping a lot of potential fights.

Quillin needs a fight to look good in against someone that is viewed as dangerous, I don't think GGG is the bout to do that, but it's better than going the distance against one eyed midgets or having Rosado walking you down with hooks.

To Quillin's credit I don't think he is hiding behind the rival networks. It seems like he would readily take the fight, he just cannot because of the Cold War.
edit: I would love to see Showtime make Quillin-Jacobs in the meantime.

I dont agree. I mean, yeah Garcia beating Matthysse was a big victory for him, but we had already seen Matthysse lose twice previously....regardless what his fans thought.


GGG has never lost, never got close to tasting defeat, and everyone believes he's the legit #1 Middleweight in the world.


Matthysse lost to Judah and Alexander, so even with Garcia beating him, this so-called monster already showed he could be tamed.


Peter Quillen is less regarded than Danny Garcia was and an undefeated GGG is better than Matthysse, so a win for Quillen would be much bigger
