yeah, cotto-canelo.
On one hand you could make history and possibly the highest pay day in your career that already includes a bout with Pac and May

or

Face Canelo.

Unless *shook ones* is playing on repeat in his head............. :sas1:

Canelo can fukk around with Kirkland, Molina, Charlo Brothers, or Andrade in the mean time. I hope he doesn't think that his performance against Lara meant much as far as a statement. That goes for both him and Lara though :ehh:

Obviously, the right pieces would have to perfectly fall in, but if Oscar puts together that card... :banderas:

Not only would it be the first boxing PPV card I would have purchased since Oscar/Floyd, it could be the big opening we as fans need to end this Cold War nonsense once and for all.

Also, knowing full and damn well that this will be in Vegas, AND on Cinco De Mayo, it would undoubtedly force Floyd to either: a.) pick a different date or b.) fight a big big BIG time opponent to counteract on the same date. And if it's option B, I don't think fighting Amir Khan, even if it's in England, would do much to counter the American, Mexican, Puerto Rican, and hardcore/casual fans alike for the proposed Cotto/Canello-Ward/GGG supercard (no disrespect to Khan, BTW).

So, taking that into consideration, Floyd might very would have no other choice BUT to fight :deadmanny:, but if it's presumably not gonna be in Vegas, then where? Could it be Macao, could it be the Barclays in Brooklyn, or for sheer momentous occasion, Jerryworld in Dallas?

So many options and possibilities to ponder... :lupe:

Was very skeptical of the JCC-Cotto fight as it really made no sense for Cotto.
http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/i...julio-cesar-chavez-jr-discussing-jan-24-fight

A fight between super middleweight titlist Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is back in discussions, but rather than the fall, as originally intended, the new target date is Jan. 24 as an HBO PPV headliner in Las Vegas.

"Talks have re-opened with Top Rank regarding a proposed Froch versus Chavez fight with a date of Jan. 24th penciled," Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn, Froch's promoter, told ESPN.com on Tuesday. "Obviously, we have the potential to make another big domestic fight against [mandatory challenger] James DeGale and even a third fight with Mikkel Kessler, but either way we have given ourselves a deadline of 10 days to two weeks to map out Carl's future."

Arum said he met with Chavez's father, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., manager Billy Keane and Mexican promoter Fernando Beltran, who has been involved in Chavez's career since the beginning, on Sunday at his home in Los Angeles, and things went well.

By waiting until January to fight again, Chavez will go a second year with only one fight. He fought once in 2013, a controversial decision win against Bryan Vera, and has fought once this year, a dominant decision win against Vera in the March 1 rematch.

edit: Make this fight and have the winner face GGG summer 2015. :ohlawd:
