ill say this john Molina had notoriety outside of the demarco loss...dude owns zeros from notable prospects just like Herrera had notoriety for taking ruslan's zero and never been down in a fight..what notoriety does the non talented carlos Molina have? :patrice:

True, the only difference is Carlos Molina eventually loses after being outclassed round by round, whereas John Molina might actually come back and win after getting his shyt wrecked for 9 or 10 rounds.

Add to the fact that john molina was huge for the lw division anyway. It's not like he had to blow up to make 140.

Getting dropped TWICE by a 135 fighter who lost to DeMarco in 45 secs is impressive :mjlol:
I will admit that it looked bad, but I am interested to see Molina more at 140. Molina looked big at 140, definitely not like a guy just moving up needing to get acclimated. Plus Molina has a history, besides that fight, of being durable and having an excellent chin.
I wonder if he was weight drained and just couldn't take a punch and/or Molina said that was a fluke, weird experience.

We know Lucas can punch and Molina took those punches well for quite a while. :yeshrug: It is what it is...I don't think Molina is a top tiered fighter in any weight class...just think he may prove that the quick KO was a fluke.

Anyone seen this man Blake Caparello fight? Kovalev gonna body him or nah?

Dude can box and has a solid set of skills. I saw his fight with Elvir Murigi on FNF earlier this year.

Blake knows his way around the ring, but he has no power. His movement and boxing skills might possibly trouble Kovalev early, but I don't really see him doing anything of note in that fight unless Kovalev ain't as good as he's supposed to be.

No. just no breh:comeon:

I cant believe you just tried to slip this past the #BandCampBrigade:ufdup:

John Molina has lost to Martin Honorio (who's 5-5 since beating Molina), Antonio DeMarco (KO'd in 44 seconds), Andrey Klimov (who was thoroughly beaten by Terence Crawford afterwards in his next fight), and Lucas Matthysse

Carlos Molina only has 2 losses period....His only 2 losses are to Amir Khan and Adrien Broner:mjpls:

John Molina has no notoriety at all:russ:

Carlos Molina's losses have only been to Champions....John Molina has lost to a bum, an unproven prospect, a dude who Broner KO'd in 6 rounds, and a guy who's lost 3 of his 4 step up fights in Matthysse:camby:

Hank Lundy and my Cleveland breh Mickey Bey, both who got caught slipping at the end after beating Molina's ass?:to:

:bryan:

Molina can just take a beating. He's similar to Gatti in that fashion:yeshrug:

:myman: exactly.

If you got 2 dudes that both lost to champions, the only thing that separates them is who they won against. Carlos Molina hasn't beat anybody of note. Even though Bey and Lundy were kicking John's ass throughout the fight, he did come back to stop them nikkas.
