Hypothetically of course (being that B-Hop hasnt fought nor beat neither Stevenson or Kovalev), if Bernard Hopkins is able to become the RING/WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF Light Heavyweight Champion at 50, plus his complete dominance and reign over the Middleweight division with 20 straight title defenses combined with his complete dominance of the Light Heavyweight division, incuding a resume which would also have victories over Top 5 ranked opponents or higher in Joe Lipsey/John David Jackson/Glen Johnson/Robert Allen/Antwun Echols/Syd Vanderpool/Keith Holmes/Felix Trindad/Carl Daniels/Morrade Hakkar/William Joppy/Oscar De La Hoya/Howard Eastman/Antonio Tarver/Winky Wright/Kelly Pavlik/Roy Jones Jr/Jean Pascal/Tarvoris Cloud/Beibut Shumenov/Adonis Stevenson/Sergey Kovalev at light heavyweight....I would have no choice.

He can, if he takes Kovalev into deep waters he can. One thing you can always count on for Hop is he is always in great shape. Kovalev hasn't had to go the distance, Hop is crafty enough where this fight very well may.

I give Hopkins a big shot but I don't think he can keep kovalev off him.. Hopkins has seen everything but I don't think he has seen this kind of power before.
