Fightnews.com has learned that the date for the clash between IBF middleweight champion Sam Soliman (44-11, 18 KOs) and former champion Jermain Taylor (32-4-1, 20 KOs) is October 4. The bout will land at a venue in either Florida or Connecticut. Soliman will be making the first defense of the belt he won from Felix Sturm in May.

Nope. I watch because he's the #1 best boxer on the planet, BUT if he happens to lose....I'd kick myself for missing it and seeing the other fighter manage to climb that hill and knock off the kingpin.


Same way Im still mad that I missed seeing Pacquiao KO'd live by JMM:snoop:


It just isnt the same already knowing the outcome and watching it. It takes away all mystery.

I wouldnt mind it, being that I believe RiGOAT is the best boxer on the planet period and should be #1 on everybody's list as far as pure skill goes:sas2:

if its in CT ill prolly try to be in the house for it..most likely they'll have it at the casinos...watch the fights then go gamble on horse races while smoking a cigar and/or play blackjack :myman:

I don't like the idea of stacking a PPV card now. Garcia/Lucas would've been so much more of a big deal had it not been overshadowed by the Floyd fight.

And with these weak main events we're getting on normal fight dates, I'd prefer the actual good ones take up space. If bunching up good fights for a PPV means another 2 weeks with bad fights, I'd take spreading it out
