I had mentioned it in this thread, that was wild disrespectful.

that shyt really made me mad i didnt even really catch it like that at first but he said it while freddie was struggling to get out what he was trying to say because of his parkinsons making it hard for him to speak. thats like kicking a person in a wheelchair in the legs

martinez straight dominated....

chavez need to work on his jab and use it more if he's gonna be a pressure fighter. he was wide open every time he kept trying to close in on martinez and got rocked because of it.

Chavez should just train himself, have his father advise him, it's obvious dude doesn't like nor respect authority

Troy Ross was really impressive yesterday as well, almost had Hernandez out a couple of times

Cotto is not a good fight to pick and state Floyd fell off...

Yes he's fallen off a bit but Cotto would have had the same success with that jab if they fought ten years ago...It's never been a secret, due to his stance Floyd has always been vulnerable to left hands and when you have a bigger dude like Cotto who knows how to stick that jab he is going to have success with it...That's all Cotto landed on him, stiff left jabs...Every time he threw that right he was catching either air or leather...

The biggest difference I see with Floyd is with his legs, he's not moving around nearly as well as he used to and has been fighting much more flat footed...He's a lot more stationary in that pocket than he used to be and getting into more heavy exchanges...That's expected though, he's approaching 40...Those reflexes are still quick as fukk though and that's all that matters...

The Sergio fight is the only fight i want to see for Floyd...This is the only dude out there with the skills and boxing acumen to give Floyd a real test...The problem is he is too damn good and too big...I also don't think Floyd wants another fight above 150 so i doubt it ever materializes...

Breh, Floyd has said several times that he consciously changed his style for the Mosley fight. That fight and the fight afterward he fought that style. For the Cotto fight he changed back and moved more until he decided to fight on the ropes, which he said he did BC it would have been a boring fight. I think he has slowed some but those fights aren't representative of that

Chavez isn't gonna go anywhere training himself. He's not that good. If he wants to get to the next level he needs to swallow his pride and start training smart. He has the resources. He needs to take advantage of them.

About Martinez breaking his hand and tearing his knee :lawd: what a warrior. Not surprised he broke his hand either with the way Chavez leads with the top of his head.

Can't believe some of you don't want to see Mayweather vs. Martinez. Right now I'd put them and #2 (PBF) and #3 (Sergio) PFP. That seems like the best match up in boxing to make right now and unlike Floyd vs. Pac it can actually happen. Do y'all even like boxing? :rudy:

Imo Floyd said that to make himself look better. No fukking way do I believe he fought differently to make it more entertaining. He's never cared about having a crowd pleasing style and he shouldn't. I wasn't one of the ones who thought that those performances showed some type of significant drop off though. He still looked great to me :manny:

Rumors are that Chavez Jr. vs. Martinez did around 500k buys. Could mean rematch. Also, it could mean people know who Sergio Martinez is now and he's a big enough name to get the Mayweather fight. At least, I hope that's what happens.

Im over the paq v mayweather fight, what a load of bullshyt! That should have happened ages ago.

mayweather v martinez is a huge fight..

Same here. I'd be really disappointed to see Floyd's comeback be against anybody but Sergio. I just don't see a better challenge out there for him.
