Now that I've recovered from the craziness, here's some info:
- RNS had Adonis Stevenson lined up next after this.
- They already had a June date set from HBO, so that's presumably when the rematch would take place.
- They want the rematch at MSG, since Vegas was difficult.
- Unrelated, but Cotto is likely going to fight James Kirkland next.

And you mean after the rematch right? Cause they can't just go ahead to an Adonis fight w/o losing the belts if Kovlev really has an immediate rematch clause.

I actually forget that Adonis is the linear champion at 175. I think it's in Ward's best interest for Stevenson to continue doing well and eventually fight once this whole Kovalev situation is resolved. He really doesn't need another "Bute" situation where he loses out on an opponent he can make money with.

If the fight wasn't close, they would've moved on to unify the belts. The rematch is obviously happening next. Now it'll have to be after, unless there's a third fight

i was telling someone last night, if they do a rematch it should be msg or barclays. i feel originally that's where this fight should have been anyway for a fight.

real talk, cotto need to retire. if james kirkland is his last fight then okay but if he fighting after this ain't nobody trying to see this shyt, especially if they want it on ppv. i believe this is cotto last fight under roc nation as well.
