Canelo should offer him a split across the board then. If GGG refuses to take $15 mill flat, then offer him 30-35% split on all profits (which a 30% split should be a lower $$$ amount if GBP was offering a more than fair offer on the flat fee initially....if it isn't, then the flat fee wasn't a legit offer) and make the fight happen.
I really don't see why it's so important for GB to try and play everyone out of their rightful cut of the proceeds by offering them a flat fee and not willing to negotiate a % split like normal....especially when people are refusing to accept the flat fee.
Canelo is literally about to lose out on fighting the 2 most popular fighters, outside of Canelo himself, between 160-168 because they wont offer even a 70/30 split. That, to me, says the projected #'s are much bigger in the pot for BOTH fights than Coke Boy is letting on and Team GGG as well as Team JCC knows it as well
JCC Jr sure, he has a history of selling PPV's and is a legit draw. Triple G doesn't. Not too much harder than that. This is part of that 'daring to be great' stuff. As you were posting a year ago, you want a 25% split? 155.15, you want crumbs or no shot? Keep doing what you do.

JCC Jr hasn't sold 1 single PPV since Kanye West and the rest of G.O.O.D. Music had us begging for "Mercy" breh. It's been over 4 years since he's even appeared on a PPV, and his last fight wasn't even broadcast by a US based channel. JCC Jr is a legit draw? GGG does better attendance and TV ratings....but he's not a legit draw to you?

A year ago was when Canelo wasn't a legit 160lber & had the distinction of being called out by a career MW. Canelo could say whatever at that point, because he hadn't fought any higher than 155 and never agreed to do so vs GGG either up to that point.
Within the last year, he's won the Middleweight Championship, defended it against Amir Khan, called OUT GGG at the FULL 160 limit, dropped the belt to skip the mandatory fight, went down to 154 to face Liam Smith, and now talking about going to SMW to face Chavez Jr.....all the "Im not a real 160lber" is out of the window, because even he's said he's done at 154. What a difference a year makes huh?
If Jessie Vargas & Timothy Bradley can get PPV splits to face Pacquiao...........then GGG deserves splits against anyone in Boxing around his weight class period. Pacquiao is a bigger star than every fighter in the game, and even he gave splits to those 2 guys.

This is what Im saying. If GGG is refusing $15 million & no split (and JCC Jr is refusing $5 million & no split), then offer them a 65/35 - 70/30 split across the board and then hold their feet to the fire...................that is IF you're really trying to make the fight and not trying to cheat them out of their rightful purses.
The fact that someone would ONLY offer flat fees to the 2 most popular fighters at MW and SMW (not named Canelo), and refuse to give them even a 30% cut across the board, means that either more $$$ is available than is being let on OR somebody isn't really trying to fight. I don't think any of the 3 would duck the other.......I think Canelo deserves the lion share easily......but GGG and JCC Jr aren't some no-names struggling to get their names known. Give them what they deserve and make the fights

Guys like SOG, GGG etc have hundreds of amateur fights and in the amateurs they constantly fight guys who they don't get to review tapes on etc. No ducking no diva shyt no A side...... You want that Olympic gold or that amateur championship you gotta face the best. They've faced many different styles so by the time they reach the pros they've almost seen it all. Pro ranks are a different ball game altogether but even in the amateurs sometimes crazy shyt happensI truly truly believe less than 5% of boxers are scared of the dude they're fighting. Even the dudes they bring in to fight #BeterBeast seem confident at first.
The ducking and all that shyt has 100% to do with money, politics and business. Like do I think Triple G is afraid of fighting Ward? Not at all, he just doesn't want to because it's risky and not for 8 figures. Same W Canelo/Triple G............neither are afraid of each other, in fact Canelo wants to fight triple G. It's that Triple G is lauded by his 'Zero' so all those 2-3mm purses go out the window when he loses. Canelo doesn't have to dare to be great right this second. All the dudes they said he wouldn't fight he has, and now they're trying to stall his fight against triple g because of dollars. Yea JCC Jr because of his last name, his pops etc etc will end up being a bigger PPV fight. Where do y'all think these extra 500k PPV buys are gonna come from for triple g/Canelo?
