Canelo should offer him a split across the board then. If GGG refuses to take $15 mill flat, then offer him 30-35% split on all profits (which a 30% split should be a lower $$$ amount if GBP was offering a more than fair offer on the flat fee initially....if it isn't, then the flat fee wasn't a legit offer) and make the fight happen.
I really don't see why it's so important for GB to try and play everyone out of their rightful cut of the proceeds by offering them a flat fee and not willing to negotiate a % split like normal....especially when people are refusing to accept the flat fee.
Canelo is literally about to lose out on fighting the 2 most popular fighters, outside of Canelo himself, between 160-168 because they wont offer even a 70/30 split. That, to me, says the projected #'s are much bigger in the pot for BOTH fights than Coke Boy is letting on and Team GGG as well as Team JCC knows it as well![]()
JCC Jr sure, he has a history of selling PPV's and is a legit draw. Triple G doesn't. Not too much harder than that

This is part of that 'daring to be great' stuff.
I beg your pardon??????

As you were posting a year ago, you want a 25% split? 155.15, you want crumbs or no shot? Keep doing what you do.

Can you explain to me why Triple G deserves a split?

GBP needs to say aiight you want a % split then your guarantee is 5 million
There's is no way on Gods green earth GGG is able to make another 10 Milly off PPV to reach that 15
The problem most likely lies with the media.... They would go bat shyt if they found out GGG guarantee is only 5 million...Team GGG can't be asking for a high ass guarantee plus ppv split.... One or the other

killer instinct combos......![]()

Cosign this and what @ hyperman says. Guys like SOG, GGG etc have hundreds of amateur fights and in the amateurs they constantly fight guys who they don't get to review tapes on etc. No ducking no diva shyt no A side...... You want that Olympic gold or that amateur championship you gotta face the best. They've faced many different styles so by the time they reach the pros they've almost seen it all. Pro ranks are a different ball game altogether but even in the amateurs sometimes crazy shyt happensI truly truly believe less than 5% of boxers are scared of the dude they're fighting. Even the dudes they bring in to fight #BeterBeast seem confident at first.
The ducking and all that shyt has 100% to do with money, politics and business. Like do I think Triple G is afraid of fighting Ward? Not at all, he just doesn't want to because it's risky and not for 8 figures. Same W Canelo/Triple G............neither are afraid of each other, in fact Canelo wants to fight triple G. It's that Triple G is lauded by his 'Zero' so all those 2-3mm purses go out the window when he loses. That's why he won't step in the ring w Canelo for $15mm dollars..........it's so hard to type that shyt without laughing.
JCC Jr hasn't sold 1 single PPV since Kanye West and the rest of G.O.O.D. Music had us begging for "Mercy" breh. It's been over 4 years since he's even appeared on a PPV, and his last fight wasn't even broadcast by a US based channel. JCC Jr is a legit draw? GGG does better attendance and TV ratings....but he's not a legit draw to you?
Daring to be great? Excuse me??????I beg your pardon??????
Canelo is daring to be great...............................................by fighting Chavez Jr?
Nah breh, Chavez Jr aint nothing but a walking heavy bag. Canelo going to hit these dude with Killer Instinct combos on demand
Canelo is fighting Chavez bc he can solidify himself as THEE #1 attraction period in the country of Mexico itself (not the US). There will be no active name that can be mentioned next to his after he finishes Chavez
A year ago was when Canelo wasn't a legit 160lber & had the distinction of being called out by a career MW. Canelo could say whatever at that point, because he hadn't fought any higher than 155 and never agreed to do so vs GGG either up to that point.
Within the last year, he's won the Middleweight Championship, defended it against Amir Khan, called OUT GGG at the FULL 160 limit, dropped the belt to skip the mandatory fight, went down to 154 to face Liam Smith, and now talking about going to SMW to face Chavez Jr.....all the "Im not a real 160lber" is out of the window, because even he's said he's done at 154. What a difference a year makes huh?
If Jessie Vargas & Timothy Bradley can get PPV splits to face Pacquiao...........then GGG deserves splits against anyone in Boxing around his weight class period. Pacquiao is a bigger star than every fighter in the game, and even he gave splits to those 2 guys.
Not too much harder than that breh![]()

Canelo doesn't have to dare to be great right this second. All the dudes they said he wouldn't fight he has,

and now they're trying to stall his fight against triple g because of dollars.

Yea JCC Jr because of his last name, his pops etc etc will end up being a bigger PPV fight.
Where do y'all think these extra 500k PPV buys are gonna come from for triple g/Canelo?
Ok, then can you link me to any Boxing match in history where the #1 and #2 fighter in a division faced each other on PPV......and the #1 fighter, the one with more Championships, the one ranked higher P4P got no PPV split?Anyway you can say not taking $15MM is not ducking--or trying to cash out etc.. , but I strongly strongly disagree.![]()

Also bringing up manny fighting other TR fighters has nothing to do with this. Floyd got 300MM to Pacs 100MM and nobody complains about that breh

....bytch you suffered the hopkins fate like 3 times already
.......Hopkins got knocked out the ring but got back up almost immediately. khan got folded up like a lawn chair and was left paralyzed in the middle of the ring. I mean literally paralyzed. eyes fully functional but still couldn't move a muscle and shyt:CaneLMFAO:......random ass security guards who were working the nose bleeds ran down just to wave towels in his face.
.....that's like some cruel ass joke from god. even Allah had enough of khan's shyt.
Aight breh we ain't gonna agree on thisNobody is saying Canelo doesn't have a good JMW resume breh.....he's a MW now though. I would like to see him fight similar comp at 160 as he fought at 154.
Millions is something to argue over to me
It will be the biggest fight Canelo has ever A-Sided on PPV.....until he faces GGG.
I don't understand this question. I don't care if the fight sold 1 or 1 million.....Chavez' either. All Im saying is regardless of the ppv buys, GGG and Chavez should receive a split of the entire pot, because Canelo is using their name to sell the PPV.
How you gonna use my name on the poster, my name as the attraction fighting you, but then give me nothing? Again, the fact that Pacquiao even gave Bradley & Vargas PPV splits really makes it hard for anyone to say otherwise imo

That's because Manny Pacquiao took the split rather than the "$40 million & no PPV" that yall are claiming is fair today
Not until they added in the 35% PPV split did Pacquiao bite
Just think...if Pacquiao would've took the flat fee of 40 mill, he would've had 40 mill while Floyd walked away with 360 mill![]()
