He got a decision he didn't deserve, under his promoter and (1) circumstances he completely controlled. Ward looked shocked to get the decision and that explains it all. But of course he has to say he won, it's boxing. (2) However, his rematch ducking is ridiculous and that's why he has no fans except for like 10 people in this thread. He is so lucky to have Roc Nation in his corner to overpay him, because in reality.. no one cares. I respected him during the Super 6, and liked him a lot, (3) but his outside the ring nonsense is now his legacy, even more than the boxing itself. The ridiculous opponents, the delaying, and now this robbery will be his legacy, provided he doesn't actually fight anymore.
Ward can do whatever he wants to do, and I understand certain people (4) will always support him no matter what he does. Fair enough, that's the nature of boxing and what makes a thread like this so great. Yes he is an amazing boxer, but let's not act like Ward has done anything to advance the sport, make any memorable fight, or that ultimately anyone will ever care if he chooses to duck the Kovalev rematch and retires on the spot. The most irrelevant 31-0 fighter in boxing period.
1: How a fighter controls the judges? Going into the fight everyone was okay with the fight simply not being in Oaklanad and not in Russia either, after the fight everybody cries like bytches over "corrupt America" and that the rematch should be in Russia
No matter that Kovalev fights out of Florida for almost 10 years now and that he spent almost all his pro career now America and that he is the known house fighter of HBO in the fight, now everybody blames American judges...
2: He didn't duck shyt yet plus it's very-very hard to please some of you. Like there will be a point ever when you will just stop and say "Let's give this man his due respect for what he did so far" instead of setting a next standard to accomplish in order to gain your non existent never coming respect?

Ward has no outside scandals, he doesn't get arrested, he was never caught with PEDs, he's not a trash talker. What are you talking about?
There's not even a fighter he ducked, he can't even be attacked with that...

No one is saying Broner fought murderers row, but by all means his recent competition hasn't been garbage.
nikkas be praising Lara and his bicycle boxing, but he's about to fight Yuri Foreman who is worse than anybody Broner has fought recently.

The problem is that 4 belts in 4 weight classes....Stans try to use that to elevate AB...can't get mad when people expect you to fight opps like the rest of them 4 division champs do/did

I see your point breh. Real shyt, I'm one of those nikkas that will always rate opponents over division hopping...You already know I'm not one of these over the top stanning ass nikkas. I never used that 4 belts in 4 weight classes to elevate dude. He's a very good boxer without saying that shyt.

Why you think I haven't said shyt about Swift sonning Thurman, because most of it was real talk. I just couldn't rock with the whole Khan is a better fighter talk, because he isn't. He's just more accomplished.
