Hello All,

It's been brought to my attention that Danny Jacobs is putting together one of the most expensive training camps in boxing history. Danny Jacobs and Head Trainer Andre Rozier are pulling out all the stops. They are doing everything they can to maximize their chances of success against GGG. They sought out Chris Algeri, who is not just a fellow boxer, but a superstar in the world of fitness. His nutrition and conditioning techniques will do wonders for Jacobs. Next, they picked out the perfect place for training camp. Camp will take place at King Boxing gym in Oakland, California, owned by the great Virgil Hunter. Hunter, the trainer of future Hall of Famer, Andre Ward, will be in camp as sort of an advisor and secondary trainer. More like an extra pair of eyes. They also took a lot of time to watch film and scout gyms to find the best sparring partners for Jacobs. They found three, big, strong Eastern European fighters that can emulate and really push Jacobs. Khurtsidze, Derevyanchenko, and Khytrov are coming to Oakland to help Jacobs and will not be fukking around. Team GGG should really be concerned at how Team Jacobs put this camp together.

Roach: Miguel Cotto Has A lot Left, I Peed Blood After Body Shots

By Edward Chaykovsky

According to Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, his veteran fighter Miguel Cotto (40-5, 33 KOs) has a lot left in the tank.

On February 25th, Cotto will return for the first time since a twelve round decision loss to Canelo Alvarez in November 2015, when he faces James “Mandingo Warrior” Kirkland (32-2, 28 KOs) at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. There is a catch-weight in place of 153-pounds.

Dubbed as “The Return”, their twelve round junior middleweight contest will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View.

Cotto considers 2017 as his final year in the sport. The training camp with Roach is underway and Cotto entered the gym in top shape as he usually keeps his body close to fighting form.

“If Miguel Cotto didn’t have a lot left, I wouldn’t be here. He’s great in the gym, he’s always in shape and he keeps himself close to weight, all the time. He’s tremendous. He works hard. If he didn’t look great in the gym, I wouldn’t let him fight. I care that much about him. He will be 100% ready for this fight and if he’s not 100% for this fight, it won’t happen," Roach said.

There is no decline in Cotto's power. Roach revealed that the former four division world champion has already battered him with shots to the body.

"Right now we have a tough fight in front of us. And we’re getting ready for that fight. I did send my guys out a couple of times to work with Miguel in Puerto Rico just to keep him fresh. Miguel in just the past two days has been great. We dusted off the body bag. Body punches are hard. Yes, I peed blood last night. It’s good to be back to work and I am happy to have him back in the gym,” Rocah said.

You my breh but I'm tempted to neg for even posting this bullshyt. C'mon man you know better.

You post a list that has Triple G's left hand (jab/hook) better than Stevenson's power one punch KO shot (left cross).

You post a list that has 7 best p4p punchers ahead of BeterBeast. Poor article to post friend.

Donaire Wants Tune-up at 126, Then Maybe Valdez in The Fall

By Carlos Boogs

Nonito Donaire is not exactly fired up by the idea of fighting undefeated World Boxing Organization (WBO) featherweight champion Oscar Valdez on a date in March.

As BoxingScene.com previously reported, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum - who promotes both Donaire and Valdez - is looking to stage a March bout between the two boxers,

Donaire, 34-years-old, lost a twelve round unanimous decision - and his WBO 122-pound title - to Jessie Magdaleno last November at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

donaire-valdez_2.jpg

Donaire would rather secure a rematch with Magdaleno. He wants to set the record straight after stating that Magdaleno did not deserve the victory.

Arum told The Manila Times that Donaire (37-4, 24 KOs) can get that rematch - if he beats Valdez (21-0, 9 KOs).

Donaire was briefly competing at the featherweight limit. He captured the WBA world title and then lost it, by knockout, at the hands of Nicholas Walters. After being overpowered by Walters, Donaire dropped back to 122.

Donaire is not looking to make the same mistake twice. He wants properly build his body to a featherweight frame, and then maybe face Valdez in the fall.

"I have heard about Valdez being offered as my next fight mid March at 126. While I am grateful for the opportunity given to me by Top Rank and humbled they would give me the chance to fight for another title shot, I also believe I would be redoing the same mistake I did when I initially moved up to 126 in 2014. 126 at first to me was a reason not to have to cut weight. But what I soon learned the hard way was most of the 126 fighters walk near 140 fight night. I have been walking around 132/133 most days and I'm not even in camp," Donaire stated.

"Knowing my mistake before and acknowledging I wasn't a solid muscle 126, I believe it's in my best interest to take a tune up 126 fight in May, because March is only 2 months away and too soon to gradually build the correct muscle weight - and if comfortable with the muscle weight, fight Valdez in the fall. And once I fight and gain muscle properly at 126, I'm not going to come back to 122 to fight anybody. If that is not possible, 122 is still comfortable for me to make and I'm positive Top Rank has an array of options for me to fight if Magdaleno so chooses not to give me the rematch for whatever his reason."

"I have to remember coming all the way from 112, I have built more muscle to move up in weight. My body from 112 was small and as I moved up I built a more muscular frame. But huge thanks to my team, manager, family, and fans who were honest with me telling me I need to build my body correctly. The fighter in me would take the fight even at 130. And when I think crazy thoughts like that, it's a blessing to know I have those in my corner to tell me how to do my weight gain properly this time."
