Preview: Jack-DeGale and undercard

Is it just me or anyone else doesn't find DeGale that huge of a talent as many people suggest it?
He is a good fighter and talented, no doubt but I don't see him that very special x factor what some people supposedly sees in him
I don't think he would be so far ahead of Jack talent wise tbh... A little yeah but idk...

i think Degale is a little sloppy but he is effectively awkward..hell im surprised hes an Olympic gold medallist to be honest lol

I think it would be a lot closer but floyd would still be the clear favorite. but canelo has improved in every area, especially in ring IQ. floyd went right at canelo from the start cause he knew he was inexperienced. no way he would be that aggressive in a rematch. outside of mcgregor, canelo is probably the most lucrative fight for floyd right now. if canelo still held that middlweight title, it wouldve been perfect. have the fight at 155 and floyd has the opportunity to beat marciano's record and finish his career as a middleweight champion. would've been a storybook ending.

Exactly how I see it.


I think Floyd may pull out another W, but Canelo should be able to give him a much better fight. Either way, it's a better matchup than Floyd vs McGregor and I don't want to sit through him vs Pacquiao again.


Canelo vs Floyd brings big $$$ to the table (2nd only to a Pacquiao fight) and a much more competitive fight than the 1st time.


That's if Floyd is thinking of coming out of retirement though

Again, is Porter a boxer ? I never even saw him stand there and counter or properly box. All he does is charge with his head and wrestle all night. He hasn't ko'd anybody in 5 years. That was the last time he looked all juiced up

What is much tougher winning one or 2 rounds like the rest of Floyds opponents, Canelo didnt just get embarrassed he caught the lil nikka 12-0 jobber treatment, cut that out, do you see Canelo making excuses or calling out Floyd for a rematch

that's okay but that wasn't really the question in my post

btw if you already mentioned... for me it's a 50-50, everybody who favors DeGale does so cause his Olympic gold and that he had a good 6 rounds against Dirrell and that Jack had that fluke KO loss few years ago... but otherwise if I compare their last few fight, Badou Jack actually seemed more impressive. He clearly beat Dirrell, Groves and Bute even if the last one was only a draw on paper. DeGale pretty much looked like shyt against both Medina and Bute but he is still the favorite here cause there's that myth (or truth?) around DeGale that all thing that is wrong with him is his mentality and when he gets his shyt together he supposed to be clear cut above Jack's level. Again... based on that gold in amateurs and his first 6 rounds against Dirrell... That's what I question here... To me only cause of these it's not obvious that he would be such a bonafied talent as some people sees him (I know that an Olympic gold is a big achievement but I never really thought it's that important in pro boxing).
