Also, the Nevada State Athletic Commission released the purses for the card. Pacquiao will earn no less than $4 million but could earn much more since he is on a percentage split with promoter Top Rank. Vargas will earn a career-high $2.8 million.

The fight makes sense because its the best fight to be made at 140 right now.. and plenty of people have expressed interest in this fight(media+fans).. The only people not interested in this fight are the people who thinks its a waste because broner would just get washed.. and also Buscuit fanboys like the one in here trying to desperately front like there's zero interest in this fight all because Broner just looked like a straight coward in the video I posted yeterday when the media asked him about fighting Crawford "bu bu but Im only 27.. But I still got years left"

He made $1.5 million. If you're saying he made a guaranteed $4 million up front, then adding the $1.5 million along to it means he made $5.5 million total

“I don’t know,” Arum said Thursday when asked by Yahoo Sports what Pacquiao’s guarantee would be. The guarantee is the minimum he’d make for the fight, even if zero pay-per-views were sold.

“We’re going to put a low number on the contract because he has really no guarantee,” Arum said. “We’ve upped his percentage of the take. He’s fighting on a percentage. We can no longer afford the tremendous guarantee he was getting based on the results in the [April Timothy] Bradley fight. Rather than going in with a huge guarantee, we’re giving him an upside. We played it safe. We’re giving him a huge percentage [but with] no guarantee that would get us in trouble.”

Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz said because Pacquiao gets a piece of all of the revenue and not just the pay-per-view dollars, it makes more sense to him.

“I made this deal thinking we’d have two or three more fights and so this was done and the deal was crafted for the long run,” Koncz said. “We’re involved in all revenues, but also in all expenses. We’re true partners.

“Since the Mayweather fight, I’ve been paying very close attention to the expenses and all of that. That’s why for this undercard, I insisted on a cap of $1 million. This way, we share in the revenues from everything, but we also share in the expenses.”

So unless you're suggesting #TeamToradol is lying, I will say I was off on how much he made (bc I didn't say the original guaranteed portion), but he still only made an extra $1.5 million over his guarantee after ALL revenue/expenses were accounted.

Finally, I never said 0 interest either...interest is MAYBE a 3-4 on a scale of 10. Again, nobody is asking for the fight except on here....and The Ring is not the real world, or it would've been in negotiations at 1 point
