Creating a rough draft for Mr. Mayweather right now. We have to anticipate any questions that come his way.

Q: Floyd, who do you like on March 4th, when Danny Garcia faces Keith Thurman in a big welterweight title fight? Would you be interested in the winner?

You have Danny Garcia, he's a hell of a competitor. You got Keith Thurman, he's a hell of a competitor. Two strong young lions, both undefeated, may the best man win. As I have said before, they will always create a guy they say who can beat Floyd Mayweather. They said I was scared of Pacquaio. I made over 300 million in a fight against Manny Pacquaio. It's all about making smart investments. I don't have to fight again, because I have made the right investments. Now I think the winner of Garcia-Thurman have to fight Errol Spence. Errol Spence is a big, strong hungry welterweight and is the future of boxing. I truly believe that. He just needs a fair shake. When I fought Oscar, they said it was a split decision. When I fought Canelo, they said it was a majority decision. This was not a fair shake. All judges should have boxing experience. The judges, they don't know what to look at, because they have not been in the crunch.

It's what I hear and it is what I see @Newzz

Michael Conlan has had his debut opponent confirmed.

The Ulsterman, 25, will open his account in the paid code on March 17 in New York.

Conlan, who joined up with Bob Arum's Top Rank last September and has a managerial deal with Macklin's Gym Marbella, made the decision to turn over after a glittering amateur career in which he became the world, European and Commonwealth champion and won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics in London.

His debut is set for the Theater at Madison Square Garden on St Patrick's Day and his foe has already been named, despite there being just over seven weeks until fight night.

The younger Conlan, whose brother Jamie is the WBO Inter-Continental champion at super-flyweight, will campaign at super-bantamweight and will come up against Tim Ibarra (4-4, 1 KO).

Ibarra, from Colorado, was last in action in December as he was outpointed by Jose Gonzalez in Philadelphia.

The 26-year-old will be a familiar foe to Conlan's trainer Manny Robles, who was in the corner when his son Manny Robles Jr knocked him out in the first round back in 2012.

By the way....why all yall be hating on Billy Joe Saunders, like he ain't arguably got the 2nd best Middleweight resume?:ld:
Cause he doesn't want to fight anyone since he put his hands on that belt. He FINALLY fought someone after damn near a full year inactivity...
So far he embodies the worst stereotypes about European champions, he's keeping that belt as a hostage. This was the guy who supposedly even backtracked from a Canelo fight he is that scared of losing, doesn't even want to cash out he just wants to hold on that belt tight as long as he can fighting low level opposition for it... It's not even that he just disappeared like GRJ... he was in talks with fighters multiple times during the year and always backtracked at the end... Hope he loses his belt soon, don't need champions like him especially that I'm not even a fan of his style.

Lawrence Okolie Inks Promotional Pact With Eddie Hearn - Boxing News

okolie-jpg.jpg

Lawrence Okolie has signed a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing. The 24 year old’s decision to turn over is the latest step in a remarkable rise, having been inspired by Anthony Joshua’s London 2012 Olympic gold medal win while he was working in McDonalds. Okolie began boxing in 2010 just to lose weight but following Joshua’s golden moment in east London, Okolie doubled his efforts and after landing back to back University titles in 2014 and 2015 he earned a spot in the British Lionhearts World Series of Boxing team before taking gold in the AIBA European Qualifier in Turkey to make it to the 2016 games in Rio.

Okolie is the first of the 2016 Team GB squad to turn professional, and the Hackney talent has set ambitious targets for life in the paid ranks. “I want to be the best Cruiserweight that Britain has seen,” said Okolie. “David Haye has done great things, so has Johnny Nelson and many others, but I want to cement my legacy, have my name go down in history and maybe follow Haye by winning the Heavyweight crown too. “I want to get some excitement going in the division, not just from the fans but also have other Cruiserweights training hard and wanting to fight me, because I want to be in great and exciting fights. I want to have six to eight fights in 2017 and I'll be looking to get six to eight knockouts - I mean business.

“Even though I've only had 26 fights, people are going to say that I should be able to beat everyone because I've been to the Olympics. There's pressure there but it'll bring the best out of me. Even if people expect me to win, because then I will want to win in style and make a statement. “I went into the gym the day after Anthony won gold and I went into McDonalds and told them that I wanted to concentrate on boxing so I cut my hours and eventually stopped working there. “I've got natural attributes to box. I was never good at other sports, but boxing happens to be one that I've done well in. It's been down to hard work, application and dedication. I think with most things, if you put time and effort in, you will get better. If you have two fighters that are on a similar level, nine times out of ten the winner will be the one that puts in more time to win, and I'm going to bring that to the pro games.

“I have a lot of self-belief but there's always that shadow of doubt there that 'can you do this?' The answer is always yes but the question is there. Getting thrown in at the deep end is something that works for me as if I know that I am going to win I can go through the motions, but if the pressure is on, there's a big crowd, it's a must-win, that's when I produce my best. “Outside the ring I want to be a role model in Hackney and show people there that if you work hard and believe in yourself you can achieve a lot.” Promoter Eddie Hearn is excited to welcome Okolie to his stable of champions, and says that the first step on his path to the top will be announced next week. “I am delighted to welcome Lawrence to the team,” said Hearn. “Lawrence is the first Team GB Olympian to turn over and I think he has a huge future in the Cruiserweight and Heavyweight divisions. “Lawrence has all the attributes to become a star inside and outside the ring, and we will announce his debut fight next week.

These early stages are where fighters build their foundations and profile to ensure they achieve their dreams and become super stars in the sport – Lawrence has the perfect platform to do that. He will box eight times in his first year on the biggest shows all over the country. It's official – Okolie’s out the cage!” - See more at: Lawrence Okolie Inks Promotional Pact With Eddie Hearn - Boxing News

Still doesn't change the fact that as a Middleweight, he arguably has the 2nd best resume, is undefeated, and is a Champion. Under those cirumstances, I don't understand the hate for him.:hubie:

If your reasons to hate on him is his inactivity and lack of top flight comp as Champ (even though he's only been champion for 13 months), then I would hope you also hate the likes of Guillermo Rigondeaux, Gary Russell Jr, Adonis Stevenson, Erislandy Lara, Gilberto Ramirez, and Kell Brook who have been Champions for longer and have gone longer in between top comp than BJS has:manny:
