Brook's saving grace was he had a major speed advances coming up from 147 vs. GGG, which really gave GGG a hard time landing clean shots.

Spence will land clean shots vs. Kell. Actually wouldn't be surprised if Kell says he felt Spence hit harder be a he is going to take those clean shots.

Spence is the heir apparent at 147, I got him winning impressively vs. Brook.
I don't think he gonna feel Spence hit harder than the dude who broke that eye socket though :dame:
Idk I'm just not seeing this match go that way. Don't get me wrong Spence is legit and has elite skills but this is a huge step up for him. He can def win though since eye socket injuries take hella long to heal

1: Brook's chin held up for those 5 rounds not the whole fight
2: Body punches can still KO you even if your chin holds up

Golovkin has a high workrate but he doesn't fight as long as Spence usually does and Spence's favored fighting distance is all wrong for him. While Golovkin likes to fight in the pocket-mid distance, Spence likes to bomb from the outside

Res Brook is an accurate sharpshooter & his best punch in the straight right. He's also a good counterpuncher. I think he'll land that shot & will test his chin. He also turns southpaw to create openings which could pose a problem for Spence too.

Nearly 10,000 fans packed the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio Friday night for hometown hero Robert Easter (19-0, 14 KOs) as he impressively defended his lightweight world title against Puerto Rico's Luis Cruz (22-5-1, 16 KOs) in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions: The Next Round. That boy Spence been in the cut watching/studying
:demonic:

“I’m a boxing fan. I’ve seen Kell Brook fight. I’m not one of those boxers who says he doesn’t watch other guys fight or follow the sport. I do,” he said.

Spence said he watched as Brook pulled a mild upset to take the belt from Porter by majority decision in August 2014 and that he has also seen his three defenses against Frankie Gavin, Jo Jo Dan and Kevin Bizier.

“I watched all those fights,” said Spence, adding that he also saw Brook’s audacious move up to middleweight in September for an ill-fated challenge of unified titleholder Gennady Golovkin, which ended with Brook being stopped in the fifth round.

“Kell Brook is a strong fighter. He likes to dictate the pace, which most boxers like to do,” Spence said. “He likes to use his jab to set up other punches like the left hook. He likes to bait you in, sort of like he did with Golovkin, and hit you with an uppercut.”

“There were no big names for him to fight at 154, Canelo (Alvarez) already had another fight and he couldn’t make a deal with Amir Khan,” Spence said. “There really wasn’t anyone else for him to fight but me. But I give him credit for fighting me even though he didn’t have a lot of choices. Kell Brook has a lot of heart. He showed it against Golovkin and when he came over here to the States and fought Shawn Porter. He’s a real warrior in the ring. Come May, I’m going over there to take the title away from him.

“Trust me, this will be a better fight than Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman [who meet in a March 4 welterweight unification bout]. I know I’m definitely coming back with the belt. It might be a knockout, it might be a win by decision but the end result is I’m coming home with the belt.”

Spence geared up to face Brook in England

Probably been preparing for Brook in some fashion since August too. :patrice:

One thing for certain, Spence will be ready. And the best man will win.
:blessed:

Once you face a massive puncher and get your face broke, Brook could fight Paulie Malinaggi and still feel that GGG esqe pop; bad enough I felt Brook was overrated as fukk and barley edged Porter; I think the boy may be done

Imagine Beefy at 147 dad bod N all....imagine Beefy fighting Swift....Now imagine myself telling breh Beefy is no pushover :mjlol:

I am 1000% sure he wouldn't be having that shyt :beli:

exactly nikkas can't sit up here and tell me Liam fukking Smith is some good win. The only thing beefy about that nikka is the turd he dropped in his pants once Canelo started throwing Balrog combos to his body.

I'll be the 1st one in here to say my stan set needs to step it up, but a lot of cats won't do the same. Superman needs to step it up for sure, but the Williams fight was decent. Hell, at least Williams was coming off a FOTY candidate and had his name buzzing. fukking Smith was some random player select off of FN UK career mode. :what:
