I wouldn't say that just cause Bob Arum got salty.
Arum is in the game since forever but whenever he doesn't get his way he still acts like a 6yrs old who got his matchbox taken away.

De La Hoya has offered Golovkin $15 million but said he is taking that offer off the table and "thinking about doing a percentage split to get the fight done."

That would placate Golovkin and also shield De La Hoya from having to pay out $15 million, even if the fight does not perform as well as he hopes.

"I'm going to talk to Canelo about it on Friday and figure out the structure," De La Hoya said. "We have to look at today's market. I'm not sure what the numbers are for his fight [against Jacobs], but I hear they're low. For me to take a huge risk on a guarantee is absurd."

GGG, Canelo camps resume megafight talks
:mjlol: at Canelo deciding what % Lil gift gets for his beatdown. Canelo gna have him weighting 164.5 and making 2.75% of the split.

Turn down $10MM brehs, no wait turn down $15MM brehs, nah fukk that turn down $15MM+back end, to barely 'beat' a Haymon fighter on HBO brehs.

Have 2 PPVs that didn't combine to sell as Bradley vs JMM brehs :wow:

Amir Khan speaks on being robbed of his earnings from Boxing...................................by #KhansArmy :khanhuh:

Amir Khan Explains The Big Fallout With Team Members

By Chris McKenna, courtesy of The Daily Star

AMIR KHAN has given himself two years to win a welterweight world title – after taking time out to sort his financial “mess”.

The former light-welterweight world champion admitted he had been repeatedly ripped off and lost a chunk of his £40m ring earnings.

Khan, 30, revealed how he had a “wake-up call” after a shake up of his team following his defeat by Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez last May.

And it means he is now taking control of his cash, along with wife Faryal Makhdoom, as he spoke about his so called financial woe in stark detail before a session at his training base just outside of San Francisco last week.

“I got a bill for a server for like eight grand,” he said.

“I thought ‘eight grand? What’s that for?’ I emailed the guy back asking what the bill was for. Now the bills come to me whereas before they went elsewhere.

“He said ‘oh that’s for the server in your office’. I thought to myself ‘I’m a fighter - I don’t need an office’.

“Why would I need an office with a server? I’m a fighter. I’m the only person going in the ring but I’m paying server costs and God knows what else for an office that I don’t even need. My office is the gym.

“It’s all old emails going back years - what do I need those for? I’m never going to look at them again.

“I don’t even look at my emails now! Little things like that, when you’re making millions, sometimes people forget about the little costs but they add up, man.

“How much have I lost financially? I don’t know how much I lost. But at the end of the day there were good times and it’s only when you have these bad times do you realise the things around you.

“Do I need this or do I need that? I’m going through my bad patch now and asking do I need these things? I don’t think I need half the stuff I’ve got here.

“I should have got on to my things a few years ago when I was 21, 22 and made sure everything was right. I didn’t want to ever think about that. I just assumed it would be going the right way.

“I had property advisers who used to rip me off, I had accountants who ripped me off. I changed everything. What I’ve seen now, with what I’ve gone through if I told you everything you would start crying.

“I’ve got my wife to help me with it now but the way the team left it was not good. It was a great wake-up call and I’m glad I do it now. One day I knew I had to do it. Everything was all over the place.”

Khan is almost overly honest in the hour-long chat as he also hints at how his latest low, that defeat to Alvarez in May, left him feeling let down by those close to him.

He has obviously had every little detail taken cared of since he became an overnight sensation when he won Olympic silver at the Athens Olympics when he was just 17.

It has meant that he has neglected day-to-day trivial tasks which may have led to his own ignorance of how to keep an eye on his finances.

“The way they left everything," he said. "I remember being on the phone because I needed the cooker fixed but I didn’t know what to do.

“I had to make payments but I’d never, ever made a bank payment in my life. I usually bring the money in and everything gets done for me.”

The Bolton boxer’s relationship with his family has been tense after a series of public and private rows between them and his wife, who he also has his only child to.

“My mum and dad will always be my mum and dad,” he said. “I speak to my brother Haroon here and there if he replies back to me.

“I just get random emails off some of my family members saying ‘you need to do this’.

“The tiles fell off my roof in my house in Bolton because of the wind the other day. I got an email from my sister saying ‘if you want to get them fixed here is a number for a guy to do it’.

“She could have text me, it could have been a bit nicer.

“I’ve been the best son, I’ve been the best brother, I’ve been the best family member anyone could have. I’ve done everything for my family. I’ve done more for my family than anyone would do.

“They have dedicated themselves to me. Maybe that was because of the big fights were there for me, the big money.

“My brother Haroon he’s a boxer, but he is not making anywhere near the money I’m making. I don’t see many around him. The poor guy goes to the gym alone.”

Khan, who has fully recovered from hand surgery, is now focused back on his career and is likely to fight in April or May in America to sharpen up before a big fight later in the year.

“Orlando voiced to me, ‘Hey, why do I want to fight a guy in Lomachenko who I know is going to run, grab and hold when I can go Mexican-to-Mexican with Francisco Vargas and give the people what they really want see,” said Salido’s manager Sean Gibbons to RingTV.com. ”The only guys who want to see Lomachenko — are Lomachenko.”
