Manny couldn't barely land shyt in the rounds prior when Cotto did decide to get on his bicycle nobody trying to hear that shyt, if Cotto was that hurt he wouldn't have been boxing and moving that effectively, no jelly legs or nothing. Cumulative my ass..... in the 12th round, after he withstood all of that, to rob him with like a min left, was this really a mercy stoppage after the so called cumulative damage or was the fix in to inflate Manny's resume with a ko, a fight where Cotto was only awarded 2 rounds when he arguably won between 4-5 rounds, a fight where HBO(Now TR business partners) was trying to influence a stoppage beforehand to soften up the blow to the public for when it did happen, because Cotto was running and refused to brawl, while smartly not taken any further damage and boxing effectively

If Cotto wanted it he could have negotiateds, Manny was using his upper hand in that situation
I like Cotto too, but truth is he ducked a Manny rematch to fight Trout, as little sense as it makes it's true, not only that he used the catchweight as a excuse, but Cotto had no problems with cw when it came to Margartio. All critcsim just glosses over Cotto though, the sore losing, ducking, running away from Berto, constant scapegoating and all
Anyway I'm interested in seeing how he does in his next match, knowing that he' seeking a new trainer. Trout wasn't better than Cotto, Cotto just thought he was Canelo Alverez and tried to brawl with the bigger fighter that was content with boxing, like he still doesnt have lww power.
