ok, officially lost. everybody gets robbed overseas. that part is irrelevant. the point is, wtf was he doing over there fighting for $30k in the first place? :what: that was one of the stupidest business decisions in the history of boxing. he turned down a fight with Pac for peanuts and almost ended up committing career suicide. he was lucky Pac gave him another fight, because after beating Morales and Barerra he didnt have to.

How Ironic you talk of stupidest business decisions, what about picking on 40 year old fighters to save face then getting the boxing lesson of his life then brutally koed:youngsabo:

Would GB be trying to make a Canelo match if JMM was TR:stopitslime:

JMM was a free agent at one point and had finished his contract obligations with GBP. He was looking for a big money fight and GBP offered him a possible fight with Canelo at a catch weight fight to try to re-sign him. Do you know that GBP had the right to match any offer for his next fight? Even if he was technically a free agent GBP had the first opportunity to re-sign him. Why do you think Arum offered him a guaranteed 5 million to fight Pac? He knew GBP had nobody in his weight class to make that possible purse.

It's funny to see people try to talk shyt when they don't even know what's going on. Sit back little boy. :pachaha:

Lucian Bute and Jean Pascal are set to meet on May 25, according to a report at BoxingScene.com, with HBO carrying the fight and pairing it with a tape-delayed airing of the rematch between Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler.

Though Bute-Pascal isn't the level of event it might have been had they both met holding world titles a couple of years ago, it's still going to be a massive event in Montreal, pitting the two biggest draws in Canadian boxing at Olympic Stadium.

Bute will move up to the light heavyweight division for the fight, which could be a long-term career move, or could be a one-off for a major money fight. Bute had the right to face Froch in a contractually obligated rematch for the IBF super middleweight belt, but passed on that for the time being, freeing Froch to face Kessler.

Pascal was negotiating for a rematch with WBC titlist Chad Dawson on May 25, but once the Bute fight became an option, with promoters at GYM and Interbox open to making it happen, there was really no question about the bigger fight for Pascal.

Lucian Bute vs Jean Pascal reportedly done for May 25 - Bad Left Hook

Yo have yall seen that new 15-min HBO clip on Michael Buffer??

Ya man has the most winningest life maybe ever. He's about to be 70 next year and still moves like he's 40-something. And his voice when he speaks regularly...I was like wtf. Caught me off-guard.

He trademarked "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" back in the 80s & has made so many millions off of it. He's probably worth more than $100MM easily, no? He got himself a young wife 9 years ago, drives a convertible Bentley coupe, knows everybody in the world/everybody knows him, and all he has to do is be the ring announcer. :wow:

It's gonna be wild when he's gone/retired because so many millions have practically grown up with him. Like 30 years in the game...that's crazy.
