Maxboxing is one of the worst boxing sites out and they are struggling to stay afloat as we speak.
Gabriel Montoya has repeatedly mocked and attacked my ability to cover boxing and then became sheepish when I challenged him to a boxing match even going so far as running out of a boxing gym , because I was there. It doesn't help that he also has long standing rumors of being gay.
Steve Kim has been reporting on boxing for a while, and is not humble at all, yet he is not shyt. He self publishes all of his work and more often then not gets denied credentials for his biased pieces against GBP. He truly seems like a man who hit his 40s and started to say to himself "What if I had of done this..." just another sad and bitter person. In fact both of them are so pathetic and egotistical they will probably pop in this forum to talk shyt and then run away. Only difference is everyone knows who I am, I go by a name people call me in reality and I truly have no fear of those cowards.
In all honestly people like Montoya and Kim are what is wrong with boxing
good luck to him but i hope he works on other techniques, he can't rely on his power, and at 147 it will be hard..
147 is shaping up to be the best class..all we need is garcia to move up and that argie cat..matthayssie(sp).
Man i remember that clown Montoya. I debated him on twitter and pulled his card and he got all pissy. He would make an argument but not defend his work. I told him he wasnt a real journalist and he blocked me
then he started trash talking mine and Lukie's show once he found out who i was. Dude is some shyt with his writing biased articles without any kind of sources or anything other than thinly vield hate.

As far as boxing writes/journalists go...all of them dudes got some type of bytch ass nikka tendencies. I don't hate them for it because they are representing the sport a nikka love, so I give them they respect, but that don't mean I have to like 'em.
Doug Fischer- I remember picking Kirkland to beat Angulo in the upset in a couple mail bags leading up to the fight. He would put my shyt in his mailbag but would always say that Angulo would win..cool..Now when Kirkland wins and I email him again seeing if I'm gonna get some props, dude ignores it and then goes on to say in the mail bag that the people picking Kirkland to win weren't vocal enough...
So saying it twice ain't vocal enough..
Gabe Montoya- He hit and miss with his articles. He feels himself wayyy too much for being a rookie in the game though.
Steve Kim-He cool to me. He has an honest/real approach to a lot of shyt. He's like the one nikka in the classroom who has the most unpopular opinion but you still respect it because how he puts it.
Breadman-He's cool, but he's another dude who feels himself a lil too much. He knows his shyt though. nikka tried to son me for picking Dawson to beat Hopkins but couldn't give props for me getting it right. At the same time he'll never miss an opportunity to tell you that you wrong.
Basically, I just feel that boxing needs a wave of young dudes around 22-30 yrs old to take over the boxing media game. The only thing is that most of the young bulls are too caught up in the moment of now and don't wanna learn or accept any perspective from the past so it's hard to get a healthy medium. You either gotta bunch of washed up fukks who can't be humble sometimes or some young nikkas who think boxing didn't exist before 2005.
