Well the Lucas/Ajose fight is for the interim belt...so he'd be a champion with the rest of the belt holders
This situation proves my point correct about these belts being worthless since all sanctioning bodies are bullshyt. If he just simply wants a belt to feel like a champion, whatever, he's got a shot next month. A belt is a belt, they don't hold any weight but if that's what helps him sleep at night...

The next generation of fighters has to learn to ignore these worthless trinkets and simply fight the best available opposition. As long as there's more than 1 championship, FANS.DON'T.CARE.

The weird thing about Lucas is that realistically he could be undefeated right now. The Zab fight was very close with Zab barely making it out alive and Devon made their fight as dull as possible and even then I didn't see him winning the fight. I would love to see Lucas/Ajose, but imagine a Lucas/Maidana fight in Argentina, that to me would be amazing

You guys think this whole TMT thing is gonna be the same shyt as Top Rank with all the fighters just taking in house bouts?

trout vs k9 makes sense for a unification, i got the feeling kirkland-cotto will happen in December.

These fights are too interesting and realistic for either to be. I say get K9s old ass out of the game by fight Angulo, Trout vs Kirkland and Cotto vs Canelo/Lopez winner and Floyd fights either Ghost or Sergio Martinez if he wins. Willy you want to be on the show on Sunday BTW?

-Unless Canelo makes short work of Lopez, can't see it...then there's always the threat of an upset...

-Carlos Molina has EARNED and DESERVES a big fight, no debating the facts.

-Kirkland/K-9/Trout...whoever gets left out here since 2 are supposed to fight, just not confirmed which two yet

-Lara/Vanes/Rosado...SOLID competition, just not big names

-Angulo/Cintron/...Slightly bigger names, not as competitive bouts IMO

Nah breh the bigger miracle is how long K9 been able to hold on to his title and nobody been wanting to take his shyt yet. Dude's acting afraid of him or something like we all didn't see Joel Julio take his lunch a few years ago on FNF. Don't get me wrong K9 has improved a lil since then but damn, I thought Kirkland, Cotto, Ginger Kid, etc... somebody would of made a fight with him aby now.

K9 has a legit belt and we all know Belts get you television dates nowadays.

My whole point is that he's an easy mark that somebody should have been jumped on. I understand he was being promoted by Don King so his career wasn't kept that active. Now that Goldenboy got him, you'd think they throw some bigger names at him. Cats like Kirkland and Canelo would benefit from fighting him and taking his belt. Plus I believe those fights would be entertaining.

K9 is more marketable than Trout though. He stunk out the joint with that last fight. They need to keep his ass off tv for a while.
