Nah RJJ aint broke or nothing like that, he just cant leave the game alone. He cant let go of the sport. His love for the sport hasnt gone anywhere it's just that his athleticism has left a long time ago.

Roy should've retired after the Ruiz fight. Him going from LHW to HW and then back down to LHW effectively ended his career

Roy was Big after he beat Ruiz..
potential fights with lewis, tyson and holyfield were on the table. He went back down..

I think he knew he was too small to fight those guys. That's why he went back down to 175. But those fights would've made tons of money though, he would've been at a huge disadvantage. Especially against Lewis im not sure how RJJ would've won that one

roy claimed in a interview that, that the heavyweight punch was a bit too much for him. but imo, he should have fougth lewis, would've made probably 15-20 million, win or lose retire as one of the GOATS.

i guess those hbo checks aint enough to cover that 3.5 million he owes the irs. shyt is sad.

i think roy actually could beat that version of tyson and holyfield. tyson at that time of his career was shot. i believe if he couldn't land something big the first few rounds(1-2), roy would've picked him apart and danced his way to a decision.

man if roy would've made either one of those fights happen at that time, he could've retired with a nice retirement check.

p*ssy boy could of took the strap from little pillow fisted Bryd, which could of set up Lewis for the undisputed hw championship with all the straps on the line, still :mindblown: how Roy passed his opportunities up, he could have been set for 3 lives.

Bryd too who was the champ and most winnable fight

HW wasn't too much for Roy, Roy just wanted to fight Bums he was sure he could exploit an beat, unfortunately he thought he had a bad night vs Tarver in the 1st match, he was rudely awaken

SN: Funny how Roid Jones, got his aura shattered and shot, vs a fellow roider in Tarver:pachaha:
