I think they did that to try and "jab" Canelo knowing the tension that exists between JCC Jr and Canelo (with Gilberto Ramirez creeping up the ladder himself). I wouldn't be surprised if it pissed them off that Canelo, a true born & raised Mexican, just dumped their belt like they are the WBO or something.

it doesn't matter what K2 promised in a interview or on twitter. All that matters is what's negotiated when it's time to talk business with the other side and when it's made official. Of course Canelo is going to get the biggest share but what if right off the bat his people talk about they want 90/10 or something crazy like that. If i'm the B side that has rising popularity of my own i still want more than that so anything can happen.

Denis Lebedev and Victor Ramirez both easily made weight for the first cruiserweight title fight unification clash since 2008, as the pair of beltholders collide Saturday evening at Megasport Arena in Moscow, Russia.

Lebedev (28-2, 21KOs) tipped the scales at 198.7 lbs., while Ramirez - a two-term titlist from Argentina - checked in at a trim and ready 198.6 lbs.

Their cruiserweight unification clash - the first since David Haye crushed Enzo Maccarinelli in the 2nd round of their March '08 three-belt meet - became the makeshift main event of a show once topped by the now canceled heavyweight showdown between unbeaten champ Deontay Wilder and local favorite Alexander Povetkin.

Breh, after all this talk from you about how Canelo doesn't want the belt and basically "f**k the WBC".....if he goes back to fight GGG at the full 160 limit, and pays the sanctioning fees for the same belt he just vacated (the one you claim he could care less about), that's an L breh
