Brehs, thinking what we get now for cards, looking back on some of Don King's cards from the 90's is flatout awe inspiring.

The night of McClellan/Jackson had Lennox/Tucker and JCC/Alli on the under :wow:

And the card for the rematch was even better :mindblown:

Main Event
WBC Middleweight Championship
Gerald McClellan Vs Julian Jackson II

WBC Light-Middleweight Championship
Simon Brown Vs Terry Norris

WBC Light-Welterweight Championship
Julio Cesar Chavez Vs Frankie Randall II

WBC Super-Featherweight Championship
Azumah Nelson Vs James Leija

WBC Minimumweight Championship
Ricardo Lopez Vs Kermin Guardia
Three BIG rematches, five big title fights in total, and Meldrick Taylor also on the card :dead:

The expansion of cable has really hurt the PPV spectacle. Think of all the low-key great fights that are now on a Fox Sports network or Spike or something that instead would have been like 3-4th match on a big PPV card. Better to have more fights for "free", but absolutely kills the PPV spectacle.

All GGG N his team had to do was say we at 160....we make 160 easily...we staying at 160

The thirsty shyt calling out Floyd, Canelo, Cotto when they at 154

The 154-168 can get it

The GGG kos heavyweights.... The GGG will end up at 175

The thirsty shyt of calling out Froch N Jr at 168

Taking step aside $$$ numerous times when you "only bout the belts"

All that is getting GGG the criticism he gets Now for staying in that weak ass division

People were calling for AB to move up the minute he beat Demarco...Crawford barely got to 140...fought only 2 guys who were actual 140 fighters N they want him to move up... Floyd was small for 147 they wanted him to move up to 160 (Sergio, then GGG)

GGG tho its :whoa:hes small
Floyd is a 5 division world champ with a tremendous resume with fighters and just came off beating pacquiao who is probably the best fighter of this generation next to floyd ''floyd needs to challenge himself and dare to be great and face GGG''
GGG who has nowhere near that kinda resume gets told to move up to find it after constantly hearing about him hurting guys like kovalev who are bigger than him. '' woah hold up :whoa:''see this is what's wrong with the 'demographic'''.

Broke the damn pull up bar... One of the bolts snapped right in half :beli:

Pull up bar can support my body weight + 40 pound weighted vest but too:flabbynsick: to handle the 75 pound bag N my uppercut

Only good thing was my son seent the whole thing N I hit him with the "you see what these hands do boy:mjgrin:"
damn I never thought to do this. I live in an apartment so I have nowhere to put a punching bag. this shyt might tear down the frame on my door though:lupe:.....how much does that weigh?

Its a shame that Beterbiev's promoter sucks because if he were with anyone else he would be a much bigger star and mentioned in the same breath as Kovalev, Ward, Adonis etc.
Its like dude is an afterthought.
Yeah seriously. This guy is talented and hell and should be one of the horsemen of the LHW division. Watch this space....... guy will be snatching bodies in the LHW division. @mr. smoke weed already knows

Its a good set up breh...I been doing it for a good 3 1/2 yrs...my pullup bar like 10 years old which is why it broke

Your door frames should be fine...never had a problem on any of the ones I've put the bar up on N I do chin ups N pull ups with a weighted vest

The bag weighs 70-80 pounds

Yeah dafuq was up with that? Guy was talented (allegedly giving floyd all he could handle in sparring) but he was a headcase:francis:

yeah, its crazy. batb/andre too calm tho.

that's why I always use Floyd/Tyson examples....seems like that's the only way whites and blacks will tune in ppv wise in large bulk too see a black boxer.

that's why charlo acting a fool....:deadrose:

but also think nfl/nba grabs AA attention more too. that's what I was into when I wasn't into boxing as much.:manny:

plus I think our Olympic teams are sorry as fukk now and there is no pride in it anymore cause America don't dominate every year like they used too or have that Cuban rivialry. its mostly Russia vs cuba now in the amateur scene.:manny:

plus no HW champion damped a lot of black fans I believe too. everyone usually know who the hw champ is even if they are a super casual.:manny:

Speaking as a white dude, those things (the US being non stellar in the AMs and no heavyweight star) applies to both white and black fans, breh.

try some of these boxing sites. you'll see.:dame:

plus most boxers suffer from perception of a real threat. see Floyd happened to have pac.

but most great boxers don't have that A2 rival that people are gonna go crazy over. plus boxing fans are big into u moving up in weight. ray leonard gets more credit for moving up then being a great 147 guy or whatever his natural weight is.

boxing wasn't always like that with moving up in weight. just for u to dominate a division was great but moving up was also great. now u have to move up asap or u hiding ducking n dodging from real threats.

let me tell you unless ggg way lower than his perceived skill level, no one at 168 gonna beat him. the 175 classs is where ggg will run into problems imo.

but in this day n age moving up to 168 is better. after all everyone knows no one at 160 can beat ggg after/if he beats Jacobs. you'll have guys bigger than you, with maybe just as much power. I don't think anyone at 168 except ward would have gotten ggg in the all time great list as a mw-smw but it will be a step up challenge..

thing is, people get mad cause they feel ggg fans will try to make others boxers move up quickly but be okay with ggg being in the same division for 10 years. people feel he should move like andre.(moved up after ggg wanted more time to face him)

What was the brutal brutal fight in the 80s or early 90s where breh was a killer at 160 and moved up to 168 and got brain damage first fight there?
