Only recent champ I can think of that wasn't with Top Rank with Kid Chocolate. WBO has been a long standing bed fellow of Top Rank.

Looks aren't a factor. There's two types of women boxing fans.

1. Groupies. And as we ALL know from any organized sport, looks don't matter. Money does.
2. Actual Fans of the Sport. Again looks don't matter.

For marketability, let's give some examples of athletes that went on to big endorsements who aren't attractive:
1. Shaq
2. Bill Walton
3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

I could go on and on. Marketability is based on dominance and personality. Crawford's flaw is his unwillingness to speak to people and I think it's more insecurity speaking publicly. Having spoken to him a number of times, he's honesty very shy when you approach him. Let me pull up an OLD interview I did with him.

All those fights are posed to be first qtr so they jus being rumored on the AB card...then once that's finalized whatever didn't make it will be rumored on the Swift vs Thurman

I didn't say Crawford was ugly, the original poster did. But yes I don't find any of the other three I mentioned attractive. It's not about standards, it's about preferences and I don't prefer their looks.
