Are you for real...? :heh:

Ward went full 12 with Kovalev a bigger man who's a skilled killer and proved himslef against higher opp than Golovkin. He still couldn't KO Ward and it ended up being a competetive, close fight.
After that you think Golovkin beats Ward...?:usure:
GGG is made for that wrestling shyt clinch shyt which is Wards strongest assest; the Ward Kovalev fight just showed that as far as being a super technical hands wise Ward isn't as good as he likes to believe; before Kovalev went into kill mode and went into dummy mode he was seriously boxing the shyt out of Ward and hurting him with every shot.....GGG im not sure he allows Ward to survive if he hurts; with his ability to cut off the ring and turn it into a dog fight.

Not that I ever felt Ward was shyt; he looked real ordinary once he finally face a elite level talent for the once; that boy lucky Calzaghe never fought him; he suppose be in his prime but looking like 40 year old Bhop out here :scust:

Just seen a lil of jmm vs PAC 4 again.

Did my man really change his style in every fight with PAC? :ohhh:
One of the best fight I seen in my years; you could tell them nikkas hated eachother and was only satisfied with a KO; comical how it was a chess match for the most part, but they went into wild brawls after every knockdown and after every knockdown those wild brawls was more and more intense; you just got the feeling someone would be slept......

Shame ped questions haunt the fight; and shame JMM didnt do it a fifth time

Show me a footage where Golovkin fights in a clinch. He doesn't fight so rangy like Kovalev but wrestling is far from him he always tries to push immediately when somebody brings it to him up close.

Eastern Euro fighters in general can't or don't fight in a clinch with a few exception like Beterbiev. Same as with Germans. They are rather textbook styled fighters with good fundamentals but they aren't trained to rough their opponent up. That's why I usually say that it's incorrect to call GGG "Mexican style" cause the stereotypical Mexican style's bread and butter that roughhousing...

Also I wouldn's say that inside fighting Ward's strobgest asset. It's ONE of them but he is an adaptable fighter he fights equally good from all ranges, you just think inside fighting is clearly his biggest strength cause that's more visible because the lack of skills in that area from modern fighters in general...

You dismiss his opposition really? Froch and Kessler weren't elite fighters?
Which elite fighter GGG faced?

Breadman with different thoughts on Jacobs-GGG:

Hand Speed- DJ we agree. Foot Speed- Here is the thing. Jacobs is athletic but I don’t view his feet as fast. Just watch him. GGG cuts serious distance with his feet and he angles you. Watch Jacobs vs Ishe Smith. I really don’t know if Jacobs has a footspeed advantage. Remember it’s not a race, it’s a boxing match. Power-GGG. He has the heaviest hands in the game under 175. Jacobs can punch also but GGG’s punches seems slightly different to the naked eye. Chin-GGG we agree. But let’s take something into consideration. Chin is more important than power. The fighter who takes the other ones punches the best is the more powerful puncher. Athleticism-DJ we agree Ring IQ- GGG we disagree. GGG is very cerebral in my opinion. I’ve seen Jacobs make more mistakes than GGG. Conditioning-I would say this is a push. They both seem supremely conditioned. I do notice that GGG huffs and puffs at times. I think it’s because he throws almost 70 punches per round. That’s insane for a middleweight. Jacobs has a legitimate shot to win this fight. I think Jacobs best chance is to come out guns blazing but go to GGG’s body. No one can get to the man’s body. If Jacobs does not get him early at least the body work gives him a chance to get his 2nd wind because GGG is depleted. I expect a shootout like Nigel Benn and Gerald McClellan had many years ago.

I think if Jacobs’s head trainer is on board then I believe it can work. Jacobs’s has an excellent trainer in Andre Rozier. He’s had lots of success on the New York scene, which is not easy. Sometimes a team just needs an extra set of eyes for a certain style. Why not Hunter? I think Jacobs just increased his chance of winning by 10%.....Jacobs has not been using his “boxing” skills lately. Watch his last 3 fights. He has just been overhwleming his opponents with speed, power and physicality. He didn’t need them to win those fights. But if he doesn’t clip GGG early then he’s going to have to settle down and box. Hunter and Rozier will be vital at that moment. Let’s see how it plays out before we condemn it.

GGG is a 100% pressure fighter. The difference between stalking and pressure is stalkers don’t aim to cut the ring down because they are trying to score and be aggressive with a jab from a distance. They aren’t trying to get too close. They’re beating you up from a distance.

Now GGG has a great jab but he’s a pressure fighter. All you have to do is look how often his opponents are on the ropes and in corners. No one can keep him in the center of the ring.
