manny was very good on the pads. he had a thing he used to do where he had a guy throw a punch and he jerked his head or stagger as though he were just hit by a big a shot. he was trying to encourage you to know, when you throw your punches the right way, your punches can hurt a man. he had you throw your punches with good follow through. no pity pat punches. now guys reach out to swat away your punches in mid air, so you never can get full extension, so you never can get good follow through, so you turn into a pity pat puncher. manny wanted you to hit hard and he wanted you to be hard to hit. so in between taking your shots he threw shots at you too. just good hard physical pad work.

Idk man... if this is enough to him to ruin a good week in boxing then the problem is maybe with his attitude too.

Do I think Angel Garcia's actions were fukked up? Yeah. Did it "tarnish my boxing week"? fukk no...

I know that boxing can be miserable but the attitude of MANY boxing fans doesn't help either. That "always crying, not caring enough with the positive always stuck on the negative even if it's just some minor shyt" attitude.
Seriously though... you can have a early FOTY contender at a weekend which is also a unification and boxing fans will still cry about some irrelevant shyt the next morning.

While they don't actually do anything aside of complaining...
I think there's some problem in the heads if people's weeks out there seriously getting ruined by Angel Garcia's antics like c'mon... stop being so overly sensitive, man...

do know anything about his most prized prospect Bernard “Superbad” Mays? heard that guy would've been an atg but life got in the way.

I think its fair to say steward is the greatest trainer of all time. he actually worked with wilder/fury at a camp and predicted they would be the next dominant champs after klitschko.

I don't think that there was ever a time where good boxing fight were on EVERY week. Like... chill already, we have LSC vs Fampton II, Francisco Vargas vs Berchelt, Mikey vs Zlaticanin... all next Saturday and we just had DeGale vs Jack last Saturday. Boxing fans who expect good fights every single week are delusional... You won't get good matchups every week from basically nothing not just from boxing....

Many current boxing fans act like average looking guys whose standards are too high and would only like to date supermodels but since that will never come they just constantly complaining instead of lowering their standards a little.

and pressure? What pressure? All you do is complaining, they don't give a fukk.
Where are the petitions, where is the organized pressure toward promoters and networks? All I see is complaining and no actions. No community pressure, nothing... Cause boxing fans are rather busy slandering each other and starting race wars (not here though).

Either do something or don't. If you wanna revolt then revolt and not just complain... Cause constant crying in its own is just tiring and getting annoying aside of it's being pointless. Its uncanny. I heard that Tommy Hearns didn't have much power before Manny trained him. Either he masterfully changes his punching mechanics and defied the whole notion of ''punchers are born'' either way he developed possibly the greatest right straight in welterweight history under Steward. Adonis Stevenson trained under Steward before his death and I kinda see shades of Hearns in him. I think Manny saw talent in Klitschko and harnessed that straight that Klitschko had and it was sniper-like.

Man imagine he worked extensively with Wilder. One of the criticism of Wilder is his sloppy technique yet he has nukes in his hands. And from what I've seen Wilder has been improving in his fights.
