and now im thinking the only reason why he beat mike was because mike prolly lost what was left of his prime in the second fight with rios (plus possible drug use after)...one of those pyrrhic victories
I noticed that in the alvarado rios 3 match too

Molina got good power though but yeah. Provodnikov fell off. After Matthysse had him peeing black I don't think he will ever be the same

i fukked with lucas beating ruslan because he beat the shyt out of ruslan and didn't leave the ring all fukked up and shyt like bradley, algieri, and herrera did..that was huge to me...i need lucas to come back and redeem himself :wow:

I still think he is a problem. Power is the last thing to go and his is monstrous. That eye after the postol match may well become a target unfortunately

I don't remember Rosado being competitive with GGG at all, besides a few counters here or there. nikka got his ass kicked from pillar to post.

GGG is reaching Floyd and Roy levels now with the whole "If a guy lands a couple of times, he's obviously doing good' steez. I expect boxers to land a few shots on elite talents. Its a part of the game.
little g will never be roy or floyd level in any scenario. and nobody said it was a close fight, just that rosado busted him up. dude had bruising and swelling all over his face when the fight was over. rosado stood toe to toe with him the entire time. took all his best shots and kept coming. even angulo knocked out rosado in two rounds....so gabe saying little g isn't the most powerful isn't surprising at all.

any time somebody doesn't fall over when GGG punches them twice, that shyt always turns into so and so busted up Golovkin. nikkas did that with the Stevens and Murray fight and those nikkas caught
SNK boss type beat downs. :francis:

Clottey had Pac's face bruised a lil too, but that nikka still got dominated to the point where nobody even brings up the one counter he landed every 3 rounds :mjlol:

So yes GGG is like Roy and Floyd in the aspect where nikkas give their opponents moral victories for landing a couple shots or hanging tough for some rounds.

You making a big deal about a nikka standing toe to toe with Golovkin, but he still got his ass kicked brutally and his face turned into a philly cheese left in the hot sun all day. :martin:

Rosado can say what he wants cuz he's the one that took those fades, but I don't have to believe him since his whole steez seems biter and jaded as fukk.

Nacho: Juan Manuel Marquez Has Not Retired, Wants To Fight

By Ernesto Castellanos, notifight.com

According to veteran trainer Nacho Beristain, former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez does not retired and the boxer has a planned goal to do three more fights before hanging up the gloves for good.

Nacho had recently spoken with Marquez, and he said that even though he was 43 years old, he feels fully capable of continuing his career and even has the support of doctors.

Marquez told the trainer that his inactivity was due to an injury that he had been dealing with in one knee, but now the knee in question has been totally restored, and he's once again ready to fight.

Marquez explained to Nacho that at the moment he is running near his house, and that he will start training at the gym as soon as something is completed.

Beristáin rejected the idea that Marquez has been out of the ring because the American television networks are not really interested in his comeback.

"On the contrary, he's one of the stars of boxing. Juan is one of those fighters who receive the better television numbers. [Getting on American TV] is no problem," said Nacho, who will begin training Marquez in the Romanza Gym once a fight is finalized.

Márquez, who was born on August 23, 1973 in Mexico City, has a professional record of 56 wins, 7 losses and a draw - and 40 knockouts. Juan Manuel's last match was held on May 17, 2014 at The Los Angeles Forum, where he beat Mike Alvarado on points in a match where the WBO International welterweight title was at stake.

Before that match, Juan had lost a decision to Timothy Bradley and had spectacularly knocked out Manny Pacquiao in their fourth encounter on December 8, 2012.

"Juan is very excited to fight," added Nacho.

In a small bit of news, Rodrigo "Gato" Guerrero said that he has ended his relationship with Zanfer Promotions, and will now fight for Golden Boy, who promised him four fights, including one for an NABF title and a WBC bantamweight title match.

You're right but I think he got it wrong and he thought you compare the resumes too. Floyd and RJJ had that status while they fought higher level comp but I agree that Golovkin has a similar reputation now only he has against lesser opponents.

Exactly.

In no way am I saying Golovkin is as great as those two ATG's, but his reputation for his opponents getting moral victories during ass whippings is getting to be like theirs.

yea that's the thing. floyd has made legit great fighters look ordinary. when he gets hit with one flush punch, it's a shock. little g gets hit with legit combo's damn near every fight, then he plays it off like he let it happen. brook is the best fighter he's ever fought and he was getting his head snapped back in every single round. that wasn't overblown, that actually happened. little g is no defensive guru where anybody is surprised when he gets touched. that's a regular occurrence every little g fight.
