He was not ahead comfortably. Cards were 87-83, 86-84, & 85-85 at the time of the stoppage...and even if Harrison made it out of Round 9, the cards would've been 95-93 Harrison, 94-94 Draw, and 93-95 Nelson headed into the final round.
Also, what you're saying would be like dismissing Molina's win over Bey, since Bey was ahead comfortably and Molina got a Hail Mary KO.
If Harrison and his team thought it was a fluke, they wouldve wanted to run it back. They didn't though.

Badou Jack's loss to Derek Edward was a fluke they still didn't want to ru it back but moved ahead and beat better fighters than Derek Edwards...
I'm not dismissing Molina by the way but tbh that case was the same too. Bey is the better fighter but got carried away and sometimes that's enough to lose...
It's like that in many sports. Football (European...) for example... It happens that big name teams lose against small teams while they otherwise control the whole game just they can't finish their situations and the small team scores from their few counters... Most of the time the better team/fighter etc... wins but sometimes things like this happen it's part of the sport... But just because of those few cases Burnley won't be a better team than Liverpool, Rubin Kazan won't be a better team than Barcelona, etc... Also Buster Douglas wasn't a better fighter than Mike Tyson, etc....
Pretty much that's what happened on that fight too, Harrison fought better and is currently the better fighter but got carried away and paid a price for it.
I think about 8-9 times out of 10 he would beat Nelson as of right now but that night was just that other 1-2 time(s)...
and out of those scorecards the 87-83 is the closest to reality imo

1. TheColi loads slow as fukk and hogs so much goddamn memory
2. That thread specifically kills my laptop, shyt just hangs
3. I admit my laptop ain't shyt by today's standards, but shyt is ridiculous and I refuse to half-ass the thread just to finish it
4. Putting everything in spoiler tags doesn't help, I apologize if others experience the same problems
