Yep. Even the Pacquiao fight was a dead giveaway.

Pacquiao weighed in at 152 for his fight night weight vs Floyd........but yet he was the smaller man in the ring:

All the "Floyd barely makes weight...he's small" stuff needs to die :yeshrug:

Most definitely. Floyd grew into the division years ago. He's just a pro's pro where he maintains his weight year round. That's discipline. Even in the Mosley fight he looked like he weighed more than Shane by fight night.

I don't say that everything Floyd does is fair and square but people who want to pit him with Golovkin 90% just want him to lose :yeshrug:

Let's be honest about it for a minute
I wasn't eve that big of a Floyd fan but only the blind can't see that there are new and new standards for this guy every time. There were people who already said he's avoiding Canelo, then he beat Canelo they went back to the Pac talks, then after he beat Pac easily they started this Golovkin talk like it would be a logical fight... :mjlol: Do you really think they just want to see that fight cause they are curious who will win?
No they have an agenda in their head, Mayweather on the ground knocked out cold, that's why they pursued all his PPVs cause they always had that image in their mind. They though Canelo, Maidana, Pac etc... would all do it... They couldn't. :manny:

There's no bigger/better fight than Floyd vs GGG at 154, unless Floyd doubles back and fights someone who already has. That's just facts.

No opponent would be a better win than Floyd beating GGG at 154. Period. Fight is valid if GGG could actually make 154.

Name a better opponent for Floyd at 140-154 then him vs GGG?:jbhmm:

After the Pac fight many of these guys just gave in, Pactards pretty much disappeared, and there are less people who really would demand a May vs Golovkin fight than people who demanded May v Pac (understandably) but they are out there.

But no one is demanding that fight. It's just an option. Why get upset because fans would like to see the best 154lber (Floyd) vs the best 160lber (GGG) at 154?:dwillhuh:

It's been done countless times over the years. Again, did you feel ":shaq2:" when Floyd brought JMM up 2 divisions, a weight JMM had never gotten close to fighting at? No? Then what's the point of being hesitant of fans asking Floyd to face GGG at his own class of 154?:yeshrug:

Nobody asked Floyd to come up in weight or down. "Stay at 154. If GGG can make 154, then you should fight him" is the only thing we are saying because it's a Legacy fight.

as for size
Mayweather does plenty of petty, diva shyt only based on him being the A side so nobody tell him what to do, I don't think that he does it because he should hide his fight night weight.
He is a fighter who could probably make 140 without great efforts and probably walks around with no more than 152-155. He started out from 130 ffs... :francis: Golovkin is a natural imo fairly big middleweight who puts on 10-13 pounds on fight nights.

Adrien Broner started at 130 as well....does that make him a 130lber his entire career?:jbhmm:

Canelo started at 147.....does that mean anything?

Roberto Duran started at 119 1/2 and fought as high as Super Middleweight in his career:mjpls:

I can literally continue all day with this. Im not accepting weight excuses when GGG would literally weigh in the same limit and they could even put a 10lb rehydration clause on it.

So, Floyd claims he was only 150 in the ring vs Canelo, who was verified at 165:jbhmm:

But yet,

That doesn't look like a fight with 1 person being 5'8 150lbs and the other being 5'9 165lbs to me:manny:

Floyd's physique doesn't look like a fighter at a 15lb disadvantage:yeshrug:

Since he always refused to get back on the scale to show what he rehydrated too on fight night, then I don't want to hear about him being a small fighter. Pacquiao is a small fighter.

Look at Pacquiao vs Margarito:

Pacquiao was 148 on fight night....Margarito was 165.

I mean, do I need to say more:manny:

At the end of the day none of that shyt matters. Floyd need to stay retired and keep it moving

No, he needs to go get that $100 million dollar bag off McGregor, get that 50-0 record, and then retire again.

Passing up an easy $100 million is stupid imo:manny:

Every PPV headlined by McGregor:

  • UFC 189 did 825k ppv buys
  • UFC 196 did 1.32 million ppv buys
  • UFC 202 did 1.65 million ppv buys
  • UFC 205 did 1.30 million ppv buys

The $$$ is there and the fight is very easy. Floyd would be foolish not to get that easy $100 mill imo.

I keep saying this but I hope he petitions for a different ref. I have a feeling something funny might happen in this rematch when there really was no need.

Jorge Linares is Unfazed at Fighting Crolla Again in The UK - Boxing News

On March 25th, WBA lightweight champion Jorge Linares (41-4) will travel back to the UK to face Anthony Crolla (31-5-3) in a rematch of their September war that Linares won by unanimous decision. The fight will once again take place at the Manchester Arena and Linares said that he plans on winning the rematch in dominant fashion so that there will be no talk of a trilogy fight. "I'm going back to his house. I need to buy an apartment over there soon," joked Linares who also holds a 2015 knockout victory in the UK over Kevin Mitchell.

"The truth is I am very content to have this opportunity. He is a strong opponent and I have a lot of respect for him. I am going over there with a new strategy to see if we can beat him more clearly so that there is no need for another fight. We are working very hard for March 25th." The 31-year-old Linares is co-promoted by Teiken and Golden Boy Promotions. When he started out his career, he was signed only to the Japan based promotional outfit Teiken and 12 of his first 14 fights took on Japanese soil. He has also fought in his native Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico and Panama. His extensive international experience has made him very confident going into his rematch against Crolla. " I don't care where I fight. I always liked fighting in the backyard of my opponents. I lived in Japan for more than 14 years and it is also my second home. Let's see if I get an opportunity after this fight to fight on pay-per-view or Showtime but first we need to get a win on March 25th," Linares stated. Fans in the United States will be able to watch the bout live with the recent announcement that Showtime has purchased the US rights to the sequel. They will broadcast the bout via their Showtime Boxing International series. "I am very thankful for the support of Showtime in this fight. Now the Americans and Latin Americans can see my fight. So many of my fights are in Japan or in this case Europe so I am really thankful to them," Linares told BoxingScene.com

He didn't have Canelo make 154 though............he made him come in at 152. And it's been YEARS since Canelo easily made 154.

Secondly, you're acting as if Floyd vs GGG at 154 is a bad fight, but Floyd vs JMM at a 144 catchweight (which JMM had never even fought above 135 at the time, and Floyd didn't even make weight...came in overweight) was fine?:jbhmm:

Bottomline, if GGG can make 154, then he's a legit opponent.:manny:

If SRL fought prime Hagler, after almost 3 years retirement and no tune up, Floyd can fight GGG at 154. Yall need to stop acting like Floyd is some small fighter who is undersized on fight night. There's a reason why Floyd never tells/shows his fight night weight:sas2:

"Floyd says he's too small...look at his day before weigh in":to:

"What them rehydrating numbers look like though":sas1:

"Floyd doesn't do fight night weights":dwillhuh:

"I know.....exactly":smugbiden:

no I said he too small for full 160...not 154.:hubie:
