I said it in the fight thread I don't even fukk w Danny like that but boxing fans/media put shyt on him that they don't do to any other fighters. Everyone gets an confidence booster jobber after an L for the most part but Danny has to jump in there w Porter or Spence.

Regardless of how I feel about Porter skill level or whatever he is not an easy night for any welterweight, I'd like to see this match up but I wouldn't mind Danny getting a jobber inbetween.

Doesn't matter. Did he take to 2 tough fights back to back, coming off a loss, or not? Yes he did.


Could he have vacated his title and just moved up to 154 to avoid having to face 2 tough opponents back to back like his promoter asked him too? Yes. Did he? No.


Some fighters don't care about all that "protect my record", "I just lost in my last fight" stuff. If Swift chooses not to face either Spence for the IBF Championship or Porter for the WBC Interim Championship, that's fine, but it's not a good look.
