People act like Brook wasn't teeing off on Spence

Probably because he wasn't. it was a fukking boxing match, of course nikkas are gonna hit but I find it even more hilarious that there is this narrative on the board that Brook was smacking Spence up until he landed a hail mary that broke his eye socket.

Yeah I been wondering where that false narrative came from as well. It was competitive for the first half of the fight but Spence clearly took over and was ahead well before the stoppage. Orbital bone or not Brook was gonna get stopped. His heart was giving out before the injury. There's no reason for them to run it back either.

All I know is there is a big difference between landing some decent shots and Teeing off.

One is the first half of Spence vs Brook and the latter is the 12th rd of Trinidad vs Vargas.

It was obviously autocorrect from my phone, you should be smart enough to figure that out(or maybe not). Brook was landing on GGG with this "basic stuff", he landed on Porter with this "basic stuff", the dude is a good boxer, when you fight another top 3 boxer in your own division you should expect the opponent to be able to land shots. Whatever shots he was landing was not "teeing off" tho, maybe you should learn to evaluate a fight before worrying about a tech feature on a phone.

There was a post on here a week or so ago saying that Spence was wobbled and rocked multiple times against Brook when discussing how a Canelo/Spence fight would play out, these dudes have their biases and it influences how they post about certain fighters.

Highly doubt he'd make this mistake at this point in his career with a Canelo.

The idea that 147 Spence who will probably fight Mikey Garcia would be jumping up to 160 to fight Canelo doesn't even make sense to me.

That being said, if he fights with jab+ add on punch style against Mikey, he's gonna get hit with a lot of hard counter left hooks before he either adjusts or the fight ends.

I didn't say that Mikey does. It's why I said until he adjusts or the fight ends (ko/tko) Mikey definitely could have KO'd Easter if he engaged past the 7th round, but Easter had also never been down (for real) before. But yea I think it's much more realistic that Spence fight Mikey than ever get in Canelo's realm. Even without the tainted steak, Canelo is 1lb lighter than triple g 30 days out, just seems to be carrying it different. I don't think it'd ever happen so to discuss a potential outcome would be a waste.
