I am not one who subscribes to the theory of FM ducking EVERYBODY. I think at some point you are asking too much. In this case, I think you are asking too much for him to fight Martinez. There are other fights that can be made. If Martinez comes down to 150 and FM beats him, nikkas gonna have something to say about that.

the thing is when the last time sergio fought at 154 tho. he hasnt been there in a few years.If he could make it prove it.

Sergio will fight floyd at 154 but not Canelo
Andre will fight Floyd at 160 but not Sergio

I just dont see why yall dont look at this from the business side, which is where the relevance lies. I dont agree with it, but it is what it is. Dudes will cut off their right arm to fight Floyd because they will make enough to buy a new one. Canelo vs Sergio, Sergio vs Ward, those are decent money fights but not nearly as enticing as either of those guys vs Floyd. You are talking an extra $3-5 million in one fight. Martinez can make more fighting Chavez Jr. than Ward. Ward can make good money fighting Froch or Kessler, he also could fight B-Hop. Its just not necessary to go out of your way to make fights for moderate money unless there are no other fights available.

Him and Sergio will fight one day soon, both sides remained very respectful in the midst of their failed negotiations, it wont be at 150 or 154 for those reasons you mentioned though, Floyd dont want to hear the excuses when he wins

Since when is asking a dude to defend his 154 strap asking for too much?

154 is the only weight this fight should be made at...They both have fought at 154 and Floyd still holds a strap...Floyd's moving up 7, Sergio is coming down 6...This is the only weight that makes sense for this fight...

Why cant Sergio make 154 for Canelo, why was he so quick to shoot it down, cuz the nikka cant make 154, he weighed at 178 for his 30 day weigh in vs chavez meaning he walks around at 185-190

and Martinez has too many top contenders at 160 (Quillin, GGG, Pirog, Geale) to be begging Floyd for a fight.

I don't blame him for calling for a fight with Floyd. Dude is no spring chicken and wants to make the most money he can before he has to hang up the gloves. While all the dudes you mentioned would be good fights none of them will be money makers.

Exactly if he wanted Mayweather he would win a paper title at 154 then start chirping and doing the ducking talk to build momentum

We all need to see how Sergio looks in his next few fights before he's back in the running, he might of won dominantly, but he took punishment got his will broken, knockdown and knee blew out, I simply cant see how a near 40 year old fighter recovers from being a few punches and a final bell from being knocked out cold....................

Dawson vs. Stevenson Being Discussed For June 8th - Boxing News

BoxingScene.com has been advised that a fight between WBC light heavyweight champion "Bad" Chad Dawson (31-2, 17KOs) and hard-punching super middleweight Adonis Stevenson (19-1, 16KOs) is being discussed for June 8th on HBO.

Dawson was orginally scheduled to face Jean Pascal in a rematch on May 25th, but Pascal headed in another direction by reaching an agreement to face Lucian Bute in a high profile Canadian super-fight. Stevenson, the mandatory challenger to IBF champion Carl Froch, was left out in the cold when Froch finalized a deal to face WBA champion Mikkel Kessler in a rematch on May 25th in the UK.

Stevenson has a stay-busy rematch with Darnell Boone on March 22 at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Boone handed Stevenson his only career loss with a big upset two round TKO win in April of 2010.

Dawson is looking to bounce back from his September knockout loss to Andre Ward. For the match with Ward, Dawson dropped down to 168 pounds, a weight he hadn't fought at since 2006. This Stevenson fight will be fought at light heavyweight limit of 175 for Dawson's title.

I guess Stevenson knows he'll never get that shot at Froch so why not...

Sergio still trying to fool everybody into thinking he's some small borderline middleweight when dude's actually a full fledged middle.

Guys like Quillin, GGG, and Pirog will bring more money than fights with Barker or Murry or whatever fukking euro can they want to dig up, but he'll always act like there's nobody to fight.

and if Sergio complained about making 157 to fight the Punisher rematch, then I know his body can't get to 154. Sergio needs to call out the winner of Trout/Canelo and ask for them nikkas to meet him at 158 or some shyt. That's prolly the biggest fight he can get besides a Chavez rematch.
