SOG is still gonna whoop Chad's ass regardless of weight. He can get any titles in 175 with ease and that includes Bhop's but that ain't happening.

A rematch with Kessler or Froch isn't that bad either since he don't have much option at this point.

You're not gonna beat BHOP fighting his mauling fight, and even if Ward tried to out box him he would be at a disadvantage cause he wouldnt be fighting his fight, and would look ugly ass fukk with BHOP D, jab and feints. Ward doesnt have that explosive speed and pop to make BHOP respect him. Whoever thinks Ward walks through Hopkins doesnt know shyt about boxing. Ward is hiding at 168 for a reason

He didnt fight Dawson at 175 because he didnt have to. If we go to different schools and we got beef and I tell you lets meet at a neutral location (CW) that may be cool. If I tell you to come to my school, you may say no. If I tell you I am coming to your campus to kick your ass, you would be like "bring ya ass then". I give Chad props for that because if he wouldnt have said that, that fight wouldnt have happened. You would just have stalemate with one guy saying come to 175 and the other saying come to 168, and even though a CW would be worth it, Ward and his team just aint gonna do it if it aint necessary.

Ward will be B-Hop. Nobody beats BHop easy though. Ward is good at adapting and he doesnt always fight that mauling style, he adapts to the opponent. He would use a lot of footwork and jabbing against BHop. It would be a tough fight and surely not a pretty one but he should win that fight by a 3-4 rounds.

I was gonna post about this the other day but after I thought about it, Wards potential fights werent even worth posting. I was gonna say he should fight Steiglitz then go for Kessler/Froch. Honestly, I dont think they want to fight him though. Why? They can make much more money in their countries fighting lesser opponents....and that is their style anyway. Stevenson aint a name, even if he beats Dawson. What he should do is see if Dawson is ready to rematch him at 175, which he probably isnt.

The only money left is lower weights and HBO hyped fighters. After the GBP split....HBO is really scarce on manufactured talent, so not sure they will serve up Martinez until they have someone else to replace him. Chavez is really the best option out there even though its far from the best "fight".

I gotta say, Ward's career is just about at a standstill at this point unless he is willing to go down to middleweight. There's no more money at LHW than at SMW. The fighters he needs, dont need him. Bute and Pascal dont need him. Martinez dont need him. Kessler and Froch dont need him.

HBO has to manufacture some opponents for him.

this...a rematch would be warranted if the fight was close and inconclusive..but they weren't..both kessler and froch got the shyt beaten out of them...esp kessler

Ward is just stuck at a weight class where there isn't much competition. He's too big to be in the mix at the 154/160 range, He's already climbed the mountain at 168, 175 is filled with mediocrity, and there isn't a damn thing at cruiser even if he could bulk up and get there. Ward is stuck having to beat up the same guys over again.

trust me, I gives no breaks and cuts no slack. my only thing is, the fighters will fight...its the managers and promoters that really fukk things up. the fighter will fight whoever the manager and promoter says.

the Dawson fight in hindsight may have backfired on Ward. now, he needs to fight and I for one dont wanna see him try and and make JCCjr come up to 168 (he already fat enough ) if Ward wants to fight, let him go down like Dawson did. if Dawson was that type of dude he could be pulling Ward's card on that....Sergio too...like "why everybody gotta come to you?"

Ward's and his team's unwillingness to go north or south of his comfort zone will eventually cause others to freeze him out. He needs to show he can be negotiated with.

he did tell him that, but thats another one of BHop's brilliant sales pitches. he has to say that. I dont think BHop really wants to fight Ward, not unless there are no other viable options. BHop is marketing himself. Calling out Ward when he aint gonna bring no more money than Dawson. He will do that, then go in a completely different direction. BHop is ALL about money....while passing it off as legacy. Impressive victory over Cloud, but expect him to milk this for a min.
