Canelo only had about 3 true dominant rounds, even the round where Trout touched the canvas, it could've been an argument that he evened the round up. You don't win by landing one or 2 good punches the proceed to get your ass beat on the roped the rest of the round

Yeah i'm watch again I probably should've called it a draw I think Trout may have done enough to make the 7th 9-10. Really disappointed with the scores being put out it really killed the drama of the final rounds. When I heard 80-71 I damn near turned the stream off.

I thought Trout would outpoint Canelo and he did slightly. But Trout's punches had zero affect on Canelo whereas Canelo's were much more effective.

How I had it as well, at worst 6-6 with Canelo having an extra point for the Knockdown.
Open scoring sorta killed the last round, it might work if they would just tell the corners if they winning or losing, but not by how much.
